I think the ori could take the place of the goa'uld. here is what I think could replace the goa'uld in all the area's. I will update more once we meet the ori some more. If you have some ideas post it.

Armory/Weapons:

Not yet enough information to produce a decent idea.

Training/Units:

Trained Unit = Prior
Super Trained Unit = Doci
Spys =*Coming soon*
Untrained Units = Spreaders of Origin

Mercenaries:

Untrained Mercenaries = Followers of Origin

Technology:

Siege Tech = 1.*Spoiler* Planet size stargate portal
2.*Coming soon*

Defence Tech = 1. *Coming soon*
2. *Coming soon*

Covert Tech = 1. Some Ori help watch
2. More Ori help watch

Unique Tech = 1. Convert x% of enemy soldiers to origin
2. Convert y% of enemy soldiers to origin

i don't think this will happen...

firstly, because we DON'T want to remove a race from the game...
secondly, none of the other races are ascended, so having an ascended race doesn't exactly work...
thirdly... ascension will happen soon, and it's *possible* that the ori will appear there, as they are in fact an ascended race...
fourthly as you haven't yet completed the tech tree...

sorry to shoot down your idea so soon, but it's possible that maybe given more refinements and whither or not they're on ascension they *could* possibly be added with the wraith.

Once I find the information on the show, I will add it to the layout. To bad ascention happens before the end of the 9th season. By then there would be alot more info to make the ori a reality in SGW.

Maybe that's another reason (apart for tech matters) why ascension is being constantly delayed ? When ascension was first announced, I was wondering what it would be like, considering we know so few about it. I'm confident in admin's imagination and talents, but I was afraid that if we were to ever learn more in the show and it was different in-game, that would break the game. I mean the current game follows the show's line very closely. Ascension should logically do.

Or maybe forum has access to classified material on the future seasons of sg-1...Spit it out man, we wanna know

I know that the ori are in asention now, is any of my ideas from this old thread in there?

they should make a version with only the super races like the Alterans(ancients) the wraith and the ori idk what teh third would be but instead of haveing the ancients and the oris ascended server tech give them stuff like priors as you said and for the ancient drones puddles jumpers and atlantis

there aren't going to be any changes in names so the other option is to create another server and there is already 3 just for this one game.

Get rid of the Goa'uld?! Never going to happen. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this game's proper Goa'ulds pay you a visit for suggesting it.

We already have representations of the Ori in the game anyway - Priors of the Ori. We also have three other such races represented by the Priors of the other three Ascended races. We don't need an official "Ori" race in main. That would be rather limiting to a force that wants to bend everyone to their worship (so we can have Asgard worshipping the Ori, or even Replicators and Goa'uld).

If any new races are to be introduced, then the Wraith should be at the top of the list. They are no more a "super" race than the Replicators or Asgard, and we know a fair bit about them now so fleshing them out wouldn't be all that hard. In time the Lucian Alliance might join that list, but we'll have to see how SG1 progresses this season.

I haven't seen eneything to show that the Wraith are a super race.
they coudn't even take out the Daedalus with heeps of ships, I think there just as good as the Tauri. I think this because there resorsefull like the tauri, but have diffent wepions and know the galickcy better then the tauri.[/quote]

Only a true Goa'uld would say that. Good for you. Let's hope your race is never totally wiped out by one of the better races...

the wraith are super because they have massive ships aqnd the asgard are super cause they wipe the floor with snake frauds... opps my bad i mean gods

There is nothing wrong with the Goa'uld except that we have no bonus except for banking and income. Also that are unique tech is there for laughs.
