Planets

Now as many of us has probably had happen, when you get a planet it is only a matter of time before it is stolen by some high ranked or an account made especialy for stealing planets by having wealthy players boost there mother ship up so high any decent player doesnt stand a chance. So I offer this idea.
Have a slot so that you can hold one, only one, planet of your choosing, so that can not be taken. That way even the lower ranked players can have a planet.
Thoughts one the idea...
1.A cloaking device hides the planet.
2.A planetary shield.
And to justify this happening, there can be a % taken away from your income, such as nox security, and relm alert.

Yes its quite a good idea.
Although I dont think that it should lower income, but it should effect the other planets in some way.. maybe lower defences/more expensive defences. Or lower attributes/more expensive attributes.

or how about you can hide all planets by buying something which costs around 100bill to 1trill naq or something around the area depending on army size etc
or mabye a planet can have a ppt

Your first idea would only benifit the higher ranked players so then not only would they have strong planets but they would be untakable.
Maybe the clocking device that shields one planet divides the max number of planets you can own in half.

I really like this idea. I especially like:

I like that idea. But maybe it should be if you have a planet protected, the effect of all the other planets you have is cut in half? or reduced in some manner of way.
errr...just noticed Hells_Angel already mentioned that.

Why not just make the planet less effective if it is being protected? Since a lot of the planet's power is going to the cloaking device it would not have as much to put into the attribute.

wouldnt that just cause people to throw in a little extra resources to boost it up beyond the loss?
maybe have a worse type of price; the planet cannot be improved, and it looses some of its production...

If it were a big % it would be expensive to improve it back to the original stat.
The only thing about this that people would save naq since they would not have to build a defense.

I understand you smaller guys want to catch the big ones...still this is getting unfair against the big ones...having a planet which a big guy cannot steal...(not to mention multies would be happy to make even more acounts then)
If I am bigger that doesnt mean you need to be on ppt all the time so I can never hurt you...
Thats how things are in RL also...smaller ones can be beaten if the bigger guys choose to...become big...so you wont get beaten
Sorry for the unjustified speach...I really am starting to get fed up of this...stuff it is mearly my opinion and nth more

I just don't like how I can only steal one planet a day. Using the same logic we should say that the MS can only join in the attack one time per day since it is really the same concept.
I abandon a lot of planets but really it helps the weaker players since they kind find some nice planets.

Please dont mistake me, I'm not saying "its not fair because there stonger than me do somthing about it" like you said become bigger if you want what the bigger ones have. What I am proposing is not becuase I dont feal like putting the detication into the game, it is becuase I feal it should be a part of it, not to benifit the lower ranks as you have stated, but to benifit everyone, ofcourse it is going to be flawed, thats why its a "suggjestion" And I even admit it needs some serious discussion before it is even seen as a possible idea.

So if you want a suggestion...the flaw in having a planet no one can steal it is that multy would create 40 or more acounts and they would eaxh steal one planet...and that planet could never be returned.
Sorry for my first post I didnt act as I should... and misjudged the meaning as the intentions.

That is indeed a good point. Thanks for the explanation, I doubt that I would have noticed that downside.
I had thought of another way using AT's, but with the above statement, I cant see this idea being implemented into the game.
