Saw that episode today where tea'lc kills her and she keeps appearing to daniel and good father (lol), but as she starts giving more info. away she gets dragged back, very similar to the ancient helping daniel. could she have ascended? this could also explain the child being protected by oma.

ive never read or talked to anyone that thought this before. what do you guys think?

Hey, I saw that same episode today. Wasn't by any chance Sky One, 6pm was it?

Anyway, I don't think she was ascended, more Daniels sub-conscious mind trying to tell him that he has to get past his grief and do what's right. She gets dragged back, well, because if she told us all the information the first time round, it wouldn't be a very long episode now would it?

an no I don't think she ascended either. the reason I don't think that is because if Daniel was ascended also, he would have infinite knowledge, including that sher'ai had ascended. An I doubt he would have been as reckless as he was when Oma had to stop him from attacking Anubis.

if ascended you mean shot in the chest with a blast of energized plasma and thrown through a tent wall then yes she ascended and became "holy" in a ironic and brutal cautarized sense.

I think if she HAD ascended then she would have come back into the show a few times.

By not ascending her, then it didn't leave room for her to return, thus ending her contract with the show entirely. She and Daniel were no longer together at that stage, so maybe she didn't want to come back and do any more cameos as an ascended being, or maybe the script writers just didn't like her enough.

or a blast of flaming plasma tore a skylight in her kidneys w/e works

I concur, that was a bit far.

Why was that too far? In the pilot episode, you see her completely naked. He was just re-iterating a fact. Maybe you need to go watch it?

Let's keep things away from a suggestive nature. Yes, there was content in the pilot episode containing that, but what does it have to do with the topic as first posted; the episode where she dies, and the imagery where she visits Daniel?

This topic is not about a naked woman, nor should the discussion move in that direction.

I will lock this, even though I don't want to. If I do or not depends on the posts going forward.

I have both of the dvds and the modern dvd of ep 1 has that part edited out so I guess they regreted showing it.

I do not see how it is possible that she could have ascended.
