WAR damage meter in WARS

Will try to keep it simple...as we know it is difficult to display damage...
Couldnt it just show THE NUMBER OF TROOPS THAT WERE KILLED ON THE BOTH SIDES
Perhaps I am just being stupid...but isnt that the easier and more interesting way...to DISPLAY war damage.

everything destroyed or killed should be listed not jsut damage. show troops killed, spies killed, attacker lost, mothership weps/shlds, weapons destroyed or sab etc

True, but in some form or another weapons destroyed must be represented. As it is 1 top ascended weapon is worth more than 1 super unit(actually, at 520 mil per k of uu's they are getting to be even), but the point still stands.

# of troops killed, damage done, and the number of weapons destoryed represented by naquadah? so if crap weapons are destroyed, then it is represented by crap naq. but if u destroy the bigger weaps, then the meter goes higher in naq destroyed.

Good idea, you could even have the all the damage shown as naq because dead units could be calculated at market cost for UU and the naq paid to train them.

it should be modified yes
damage done is pointless
if there is 1 lonely soldier and 1 million soldiers shoot at him, its just 1 dead soldier..............
and if i do a kamakaze attack on somone losing more troops then i kill that should be shown in stats 2
damage meter should show the following
Killed Spies / Anti-Covert / Mercs / Normal Soldiers / Supers
Troops raided
Weapons Destroyed (Type etc...)
Mothership hangers destroyed, fleets destroyed ...
etc.........
let it just show friggin everything
then army A can say, we raided over 1million uu from you
but you only raided 100k ....
you destoryed 4million supers but we destroyed 20 million supers....etc.... it would give more ammo to people on who is winning and who is losing

i really dont see any point in not being done in a sec...it works the same way as the current damage factor does...only difference it would count casulties

there is a huge inheret problem with the current damage meter
lets say i have 500 billion strike
you have i dont know a defense of zero
if i attack you 4 times, it will show that my alliance has done 2 trillion in damages ..........
..........it should show weapons actually destroyed (cuz in this case I have done nothing, however If this person happend to have 1 million supers, and each time I attack them, i should be able to tell that I have killed 1 million supers.
people killing supers
people destroying weapons
that is damage
people attacking a person with no defense and no troops that is nothing, and should NOT make it appear that damage has been done when none has been
a damage meter should show ACTUAL damage done
so the suggestion is to IMPROVE it, and I think it should show multiple things, u can still show the damage number you use now, but add in troops lost (can be made advanced to give merc and super number separate.......same thing with weapons
it is not the same thing...i dont know if this poll explains it the best but
it has been brought up actually since DAY 1 of the damage meter how flawed it is, and it is way 2 easy to manipulate
also if i Kill 4 million of your spies after destroying your defense it would be nice to show that in stats as well so people can brag

I was thinking about this a while ago, what i think are usefull stats are these figures
Total Units Lost
Super Trained Units Lost
Spies Lost
Weapons Lost (through sab's)
Weapons Lost (through massing)
Turns Used
Sabs Successful
Sabs failed
Mothership weapons destroyed
Military Power lost
Defence units lost
Attack units lost
Planets Stolen
Naq Stolen
UU raided
This would summarise the damage of the war on each side
A table showing who has done most damage/recieved most damage would also be useful.

and for the things like mothership and weapons it should give an equivalent in naq
this is a good idea, i was actually thinking about it recently
