Alliance Planets

I am sure this will have been suggested before, but just incase, and to get other peoples opinions on it, I'll post anyways!

At the moment we have player planets that offer bonuses to the player who has it, like attack or UP.

My suggestion is that alliances can hold planets, and these planets in turn provide a bonus to the whole alliance...

As an example, when an alliance holds a 1,000 UPD planet. It adds 1,000 UPD to everyone in the alliance...

Or another way to do it is - when an alliance holds a planet that has 1,000 UPD, its divided between the alliance, eg a 1,000 UPD planet would provide 100 UPD extra to an alliance with 10 members...

Either way I recon there should be a screen that anyone in the alliance can access to add defenses or upgrade the planet and its size, therefore benefitting the whole alliance...

Plus I think this would add an extra level to alliance wars, I haven't really thought much about it, but say the 1st or 2nd in command of an alliance can try and conquer the planet, but the attack power is calculated from an alliances average fleet power, and only fleets that are currently not out exploring.

It was just an idea, and I'd like to hear some opinions on it, or ways to make it better...

love this idea itd give something really new to the game and make it alittle more fun, alliance would be more than just groups of ppl they would have to work together for the good of the planets until their control. would there be a limit? we couldnt have an alliance like omega take all the planets haha

Yeah, I would put an upper limit of 10 planets, same as individual ones... As you say - this would stop alliances holding them all!

I do think it would add another level to the game - there isn't much in the way of alliance combat in this game, or things for alliances to do together...

that would free up so many planets also, if an alliance with 40 has 10planets instead of 400 itd mean so many more smaller players could have them.
id prefer if every planet gave everyone the stated amount. so 1kup planets gives everyone 1kup, that would balance the affects of loosing your own 10 planets

Oh no, lol, I would keep the personal planets too...

This would be an extra - alliance based update... Maybe trial it in a round of quantum?!

thats was jsut something i thought id add, that would benefit smaller alliance i suppose more, there members could share the planets and still get same bonus.

alliance planets should give a total bonus relative to member count + upgrades... and should be weakened by those not active... would both force activity and cause people to use larger alliances...

thats a cool idea
i got a couple ideas to add too
1)
to get one you have to search for it, like normal ones but when you find one suitable for the whole alliance you get a messege like
"this planet is so unique you feel it could benifit your entire alliance"
or something like that.
2)
maby you can add one of your own to the alliance like the upgrade after the largest planet (massive i think it is) and it would be like "alliance worthy" or something like that.

i aggree it should be devided equally between alliance members instead of everyone getting the max output of it

Love this idea.

But I think alliance should only be able to have 1 or 2 planets Maximum.

but more ppl means less bonus! unless everyone gets what planet says as i said 1kup gives everyone 1kup
