Love Hina is a good 'classic' series. Akamatsu Ken draws pretty good and his style is one of my favorites.
There's a few newer harem animes that are related... Off the top of my head I can name
He is My Master (not that great, but lots of fan service + maid uniforms)

Ohh yeah Love HIna was the first...i think..well it was for me...great comedy even though the story can become a little weird sometimes...it still is one of my faves...

love hina is great for laughs as well as the anime itself being very cool .....only prob its bloody short :/
oh, & the best parts of it would be how Kentaro or wats his name gets pounded here & there in each episode.....hell those girls sure pack a punch lol
dont wanna go off topic, but if you guys liked Love hina then i suggest you watch Tenchi Muyo. Very similar To love hina....only this time its the girls who are being ecchi
P.S: watever you do, DO NOT watch Tenchi Muyo if there are kids Or your family around!
