Fleet strength in proportion to other stats.

Heres one to stop the planet thiefs.
Make it so the fleet strength is limited by other stats, maybe UP.
That way if people want to have an account that can steal planets effectively they must spend the time building a decent account first.
These days its easy for someone to create a multi and finance the building a MS with a big enough fleet to mass away a planets defeses.

bad idea.
all the game needs is that if someone steals the planet it can't get abandoned in the next 24 hours (not sure if this is already in place)
if you can't abandon it then the owner can take it back anytime.
i know it's annoying loosing planet defences but it's a game. imagine how the game was before sabotage or before assasins

I like this idea.
If I steal a planet and then a planet thief comes and take one, he might get away with it. Damn multies.
So I want both the 24hour wait untill you can abandon a planet after stealing it, I wouldn't even mind if it was a week. And then I'd love to make it even harder for them to have good fleets. If they'd have to have GOOD UP's to do it then well we would have alot more of great UU farms.

But you can already re-take ONE of your planets and still attack/raid, etc. with your MS, I wanna know how I can spend 10k worth of AT's farming with my MS but it doesn't have the power re-take my own planet.
If you have a multi with two MS's they can take one planet and then the other and you're pretty much guaranteed too lose at least one planet, especially if they go on PPT/Vac.

I like it, maybe army size could be used?
All active users that are strong enough to hold planets should have decent army sizes.

Also, planets that have been stolen should not be affected by the free vacation mode for 48 hours, then at least it costs them if they want to be **Filtered**.
Looks like i've lost my UP planet now, I'll be checking the market for it.

there should be no limit on taking planets back in the first 12 hrs. As it is now the multis gang up on 1 player and take 2 or 3 or 4 or what ever they want and you can only get 1 planet back.
Admin has may ways to stop the planet thefts if he ever choses to implement them.

And well for the take back planets dont forget thiefs use ppt and then abandon/give it to "buyer" when ppt ended

The first 12 hrs the planet cannot benifit from the ppt so you can take it back inside the 12 hr mark.

The first 12 hrs the planet cannot benifit from the ppt so you can take it back inside the 12 hr mark.
Thus if they abandon it in the window you can reclaim it in, you get it back.
be cool if they did that, it got returned fuly repaired

It'd suck for wars, but hey, oh well :p .

think the rule is OK the way that it is. All this new idea would do is make it virtually impossible to steal a planet from a top player, and also stop their pain at losing a planet during a war (due to it being abandoned).
Too many idea's seem to be to the benefit of the strong in this game.

Ok, say an average player has 5 planets, then four of them get stolen in one day and the thieves go into vacation mode. He would most likely only get one of those planets back.

Maybe edit vac mode so the planet goes back to origonal orbit ?
and NDCDN, what Im talking about would also make things really hard on planet theives.
yeah, it might make snatching planets in war harder, but I for one think it'd be worth it if the planet theiving multi's took a hit from a rule like this.
