I do not appear to be getting my apropriate 15% bonus to my Defense in my main account for being a messiah

Attack per trained super = 169251
Deffense per trained super = 158700

Something seems a little fishy could a mod or admin look into this for me?

A friend of mine is also a messiah and his defense is much higher with less units.

since its 6.3% ad not round 5 i dont think its the bonus..

you did upgrade all def techs, did you?
does he has any def planets adding up to his def action?

Yes I have all my upgrades. First thing I did.

Are you on vac mode in ascended?

No vacation mode. Is there a difference in stats between the ascended races in main beit ancient, nanotimaster, etc...

i think there is a slight deference because my attack is higher than my def buy a bit even when i have the same number of trained units but i dont know for sure

The defensive weapons are weaker than the offensive weapons. The technologies may also possibly differ, but I am not certain about that.

Top attack weapon:

Strength: 5,760
Cost: 555,800 Naquadah

Top defense weapon:

Strength: 5,750
Cost: 599,200 Naquadah

I don't know if it's still there, but The Deity wrote up this nice post that had info about formula's etc. (the info might also be in the help file now)
The strike weapons are a little stronger and the tech bonus is a little higher than defence weapons.
The formula for 1 weapon with 1 super is:
Weapon Strength * Tech Bonus * Race Bonus * 10 (it's * 5 for a merc or normal trained unit).

The Race Bonus is 1.15 (15%) for a Messiah, and the ascended Tech Bonus is 2.635 for strike, and 2.4 for defence.

So for strike:
5760 * 2.635 * 1.15 * 10 = 174,542.4

And for defence:
5750 * 2.4 * 1.15 * 10 = 158,700

So no probs with your defence, and perhaps your strike is less cause maybe some of your strike force is made up of mercs? And perhaps your friend has defence planets? First things i can think of there.

the deitys guide to everythign was made private for containing ascension info... perhaps it could be re-released to the ascended forums but i'd have to consult the other admins.

I think it was kind of deleted And due to recent updates quite a bit of it was out of date. I had been working on a fully indexed PDF book version with nice pictures for those who saw integration and cursed my name. I thought getting away from Uni would give me time to finish it but alas no. But with some interest shown perhaps I'll get into it again.

And yah making it again would be cool lots of helpful calculations and tips in your thread, basically the best help a noob could ever get , tbh whats wrogn with knowing abotu asc before you enter it anyway

But psi if you still have it i think you should put it back , if you REALLY want it not to contain asc information then the non asc bit can go in the noob forum and the ascenstion bit in this forum ...

Actually come to think of it Stick it in the ascended forum , the thread can be called "The Knowledge Of The Universe" now that youve ascended you can get access to not only all the wonders ingame but the forum containign the knowledge of the universe
