i dont know if someone has noticed it, but the ancient ships look as an upgrade of the ones seen in starship troopers movies

even the asgard ships look like the battleships in Starcraft... God, i loved the yamato gun

we too love that... we used 7 of them plus 3 nukes on that ion cannon in the terran campaign...
anyways, there are really only so many basic ship designs...
