Hi, I'm interested in possibly changing my race from Goauld to Tauri. I am not ascended and haven't yet. I was wondering specifically if I will lose any weapons or units. If I do lose, what amount or percentage of them will I lose? If I don't lose, where will my naq and units go.

From memory you do lose the weapons. Best to sell them. I think the actual page itself has more information.

Alright, but what about super soldier units? Will I get them back or will they be lost also?

dont race change. beleive me its better to be a gouald.
25 percent bouses to attak and a weak defence isnt good.
plus u lose everything. if u r going to do this u mite as well ascend first then change races.

The goa'uld unique tech is pretty nifty too, a percentage of enemy dead being coverted to untrained units for you.

About changing race:

Stargate Wars Manual wrote:When changing race, all of your current stats and weapons WILL BE LOST!
You will lose your commander, and all your technology.
You will LOSE everything in your offsite storage (the 'bank'),
you will also LOSE all trained and super-trained units and covert operatives (spies).
You will KEEP your covert skills, unit production, mothership, miners, untrained military, mercs, and on hand resources.

So you'd want to sell all your weapons (since you don't lose on-hand naq), and untrain all agents/assasins and attackers/defenders. If you don't have FSS to broker some1, be quick about it, as the naq can be stolen. That said, I wouldn't do it if you had a lot of supers.

\that woudl be the wort thign to do casue then you are finaly on the way to becoming a great player if you can i would siggest that you stay a gould and get help from your comander or alliecne leard to ascend or if you realyl need help you can contacty me i would be happy to help you

I've made my decision and will be sticking to the Goauld race, as it's a good race anyways, and I have too much to lose by changing.

if you click change race it will tell you the specifics of what you lose
