I am posting for : Midnight Masochist

As of about 5 hours ago, I have discovered that myself, (Mid Masochist), Tassie Devil and Gothic Dragon to my knowledge have been unable to login to the game or the forums.

As far as I can tell, the rest of the world seems unaffected by this issue. I have spoken with a small variety of people (including the poster of this message on my behalf)
from around the world, and it appears to only affect people from Tasmania, Australia.

Can admin have a at this and see if anything has happened
I have gone through all the regular checks, including:
ip rellease/renew;
dns release/register;
clear browser cache/cookies/files (running FF 2.0);
turned off modem;
turned off the computer, and am currently checking with my ISP if they have blocked it for some reason

Please help.

This is my current state:

Both myself and my partner, and a friend living in a different suburb, are all unable to even access the http://www.stargatewars.com site in any fashion.

I have tried all means easily available to me (see my post via Madness on the main forums in the "Bugs" section), and I have also been in contact with my ISP, who has checked the site from their end, and have been able to access it. They have checked both my connection here, and that of GothicDragon, and found that it wasn't related to being on the same IP range as we had vastly different ranges.

I was able to access the main page of the site via http://www.proxy.org but no further due to requiring subscription to which I am not willing to pay. I have just managed to get into the site via http://w1.hidemyass.com but obviously I would much prefer to go in via the main page without having to go in this way, as I have nothing to hide and it makes me feel like a cheater.

Is there anything that you can do from your end to help with this situation? I guess it could be that my IP range has been blocked, or perhaps my ISP (internode) but both would be unlikely...

Anything that you guys can do to help would be hugely appreciated.

The people (that I know of who are affected by this are:
- Midnight Masochist (ID: 10526)
- Tassie_Devil (ID: 18890)
- GothicDragon (ID: 76013)

There may be others but I do not know.

I will also post this message on the main forums, to help others in case they are experiencing similar issues.

We are still unable to get in has anyone have any ideas as to what we might be able to do. We spent about 1.5 hrs with service provider incase it was there problem but this was not the case. We are able to get other sites just not the SGW site or forum. We have to access then as Midnight has said. Which is a real pain.

So please any help from anyone....

Thanks in advance for any ideas or help..

The above message by myself was a duplicate of the one that I sent to that address.

I did not think that an influx of repeated messages is the ideal way to get the attention of those that have the power to check and modify anything in the settings.

However if you think it would be a good idea, then I will get them to also send a message to them as well.

Same, as of just now.

Just wondering does anyone know of any reasons for why this has happened?

Would just like to add my thanks to that of Tassie and Midnight, in regards to this problem being fixed. Has been a right royal pain in the preverbial but thing seem to be back to normal. Yay :lol:

Whoever sorted out this mess has my appreciation, as I too felt wrong about accessing the game via "hidemyass", hence why I went on PPT (thank goodness for the option).

Would also like to thank Magius for the assistance given.

Thank you again
