And how much fleet strength did this "multi" account manage to build up?

Just because someone took your planet when they had little to no other stats doesn't automatically make them a multi. Sure, the possibility exists, but there is no proof to it at this point.

I sense you might be upset someone took a planet from you. Perhaps a little bit more defense on it would be in order.

Out of curiosity, can someone find out his UP? He -may- be selling it on the in-game market.

No a 14K player is definatly a Multi..

Just so you know anyone defending these guys in this thread will be massed by me..

This guy took another planet so since he too has nothing I am just gonna take out my frustration on everyone defending them in this thread

http://www.stargatewars.com/stats.php?id=68358

BTW it was 4.5 billion NO one who has a small account can do that on their own!!

Did they mass down the planet defenses or take it in one hit?

If he took it in one hit he might be a multi. I have a really low army size because I sold all of my UU. If you mass people for trying to use reason instead of emotion I will steal all of your planets. I have a 3.2 billion fleet strength so I can mass some pretty big planets.

If the planet had the proper and required 30+ billion defense that I've been preaching about, it could not have been taken or massed.

Heh, I'm not defending whoever did this as I don't like planet stealers too much myself.

But, fact remains, just because they have a nice MS, nice UP and no other stats doesn't automatically make them a multi. There's a high probability, but without other proof, it's merely speculation.

For example, I could have my RL friend start playing SGW with the sole intention of me giving him naq to buy a nice UP, and nice MS - and stealing planets with it. Crappy to players who've had their planets stolen, yes. Cheating, not quite.

Best of luck, cheers!

lol. I've got a big UP and a top 100 ms....no other stats at all. Doesn't make me a multi...

That being said, these guys are extremely low ranked with very few uu, as if they were built solely for stealing planets...with no uu even trained as lifers over time.

They are most likely someone funding a new account to steal planets - but is this new account managed my them or someone new to the game who is stealing planets in return for naq to build up ms?

Not defending....just questioning. :P

Funding another account for the sole purpose of bending the rules is a form of cheating in my mind.

I make a few hundred billion a week if I decided to get a friend to join up and fund his UP and his MS would that make me a cheater?

Becuase what your saying is that is ok!!

If your friend doesn't have an account and has a real interest in playing the game (even if it is as a planet thief) then you can use you resources however you want....

I don't think there is anything in the rules against this....there may be something along the lines of no account can be for the sole purpose of benefitting another, but the loophole is simply that you paid for his UP and ms and he is repaying you...

Can anyone find a specific rule that calls this cheating?

If it were cheating, then alliances would massively be cheating. So long as it's not the same player they can send resources back and forth as much as they like. It's a very sneaky tactic, I agree. But people also fund massings instead of doing it themselves.

Keep in mind, this is all speculation. It's impossible for us to know wether Carthanius is a multi or just being funded by unknown parties.

Its simply a very cowardly way of attacking someone, it isn't technically cheating but its pretty much doing it, if someone is funding it then its severely cowardly and would be better for the game if this was rid of.
