Planet advice...

I'm looking for some planet advice.
I had a couple large UP planets ... and I suspect that someone (Dean_S maybe?) sold the info on the black market.
Today two unallied players with 75M troops each took them. I took one back and am wondering what to do now.
Suggestions anyone?

don't buy planets on the Black Market?
there is really little you CAN do unless you build up an impossibly defense on them, Planets are very disposable.

60 billion defense on the planet should be just fine. Gives you something to work toward.

Indeed. Although I wouldn't have invested that much in a bunch of defense, covert, and strike planets though. At that army size, is there really any point in a 27 billion defense planet?

lol! Yea, they are kinda disposable. I'd probably sell them but the mods seem to have nuked my thread for having less than 50 posts. I suppose I need to throw my 2 cents into another 20 threads and try listing them for sale again...

i would personally put a small 3 bill defence on it, just to stop noobs taking it, and dont upgrade it anymore. Hopefully no one else will take interest in it, and if they do steal it, steal it back, or get a new one.

Forget about it? I still think planets are not worth the trouble they bring.

plus to get a big enough Def. you may aswell use that naq. on the stat itself

like UP or whatever

Just do what I do, have worthless planets. Anything less than a bil in bonuses doesn't attract the power players, and they are easy enough to defend from your average noob, so you can just sit on them until you have the naq to start dropping really large def. on them and upgrade them.
Or just treat them like the disposable bonuses that come and go with no real importance.

All good advice. Thanks.
I've sold the planets I had left at this point. Not worth the headache ... and as noted, the naq is better spent on UUs directly.

And ... I seem to have become a prior of the Starry during the process. I'm not sure how that happened ... there must have been some drinking involved or something.
