usualy they send you naq for a 5x's MT, like right now it would be ~18bil, plus the naq for the turn (i think the rates 8bil now) then you buy 5x's worth of turns, and send it back to the person (2600 AT now)
hope this makes sense & helps

That's rather interesting then. But how do people sometimes manage to have a PPT running throughout a whole week, without ascending. I thought the answer was MTs, but since I now know the turn itself can't actually be given, I'm a little puzzled.

8bil can take a while to get a response, ive found 6bil is usually the standard

Without ascending i think its only about an 8 day PPT you can go on, not sure about the giving of PPT to others (if it counts as one of the PPT's your allowed a week, there was a post about that somewhere in the Newbie/ FAQ Forum section, might have to go digging it up)
Mt's usually go from 6 to 8 billion depending on whos buying and how bad they need them, personally I wouldnt sell for less than 7 billion
(That way your both right
)
