My account hacked???

I am not sure if this is a normal thing with SGW but as I was online... I was have a in-game convo with a couple of people. All of a sudden I was watching my messages 1 by 1 being deleted.
I didn't have much resources at the time so nothing was really done. I immediatley changed my password and it stopped.
Is this a normal event in this game as I have never witnessed it before.
My account name is same as my forum. Thors_Reign.

no sum times i have that where i have 80 messages i go in read a few then i only have like 75 doesnt mean your been hacked mate...
and if he was already in your account changing your pass wouldnt have done much if he was already in it..

I think if you are already in it you are asked to log out and re-log back in the second your password is changed. (safety message probably)
I have witnessed your point before where it doesn't read accuratley (sp??) but I am saying that I was watching my messages from people being deleted, not just a error in the count of email messages.

No matter if it was another hack or not, everyone shall start thinking on better passwords, and email adresses which have nothing to do with the one they use for msn, and email registered in this forums, etc...
BTW the better would be to have an email and a pass, which u not using anywhere else.

if 2 people login to an account at the same time from different IP's, both are automatically logged out as far as I know....
Can anyone test this please

this is not correct mate, i was at work with laptop before and obviosuly desktop, and i was able to get onto main with both, which was weird, great for massing lol..

Hysteria: that would be against the game rules LOL
BARBARIAN: if both computers used the same ip (at a company they most likely do) Its allowing for them to be logged in both.. Thats the same situation if u log in with 2 different browsers at a time, which i did quite some times...

it works, i remote desktop a different computer and logged in and could still do stuff

well messages get delete after they're very old.. maybe that?

from what i have read they were almost brand new as he was having the conversations while he was on.

yes exactly. Messages were less than 20 minutes old. I couldn't use my msn to have the convo so I was only able to use the in-game message.

Am i right in thinking that when people ascend you lose their messages. However if this was going one by one it would seem to me that it was different to that unless it was a very strange coincidence

Strange, sure they were getting deleted one at a time, if not then it could be any of the reasons people have already stated.

maby you're account can only hold so many mails in your inbox AND outbox so maby as you were sending one and it went to the outbox it erased a message from your inbox?
