Idea for new ranking, to help stop game leavers

Can we have a new ranking system added that shows who is race leader of each race including Lg+1 - Lg+7 ( I think thats 10x ascended), anyway just thought that if we knew who was the race leader of each race and ascended level that would give us something else to do other than trying to get Rank 1 above all races.
Many players are doubting they would beable catch up so if we had this new ranking system added those players could improve there rank in stages by being the race leader first and then by them trying to keep the title, "Race Leader", they would be making there account better and I think this would make the game more fun for everyone especially those who feel rank 1 is too hard to achieve.
After a while if something is too hard or just seems impossible then many of those ppl will get bored and stop playing so by having a new but seperate ranking system to the one we have now, it will be a little more easier to get rank 1 on there race than it would on the overal rank of all races.

It might be agood idea, but I think it will only complicate the game for players. And there will always be only one race leader, so...erm, plus: I dont think that ppl are really leaving because bad rank, imho this game is not about ranking

I always thought the idea of the game was to try and be better than others by fighting for rank 1.
Being rank 1 for your race will not effect the overal rank which we have at the moment.
This idea is just a new ranking which would be on another page, Sorry I mean on the same page where it says the following....
Rankings Commander Ranking Alliance Ranking Rankings By Relations
Ppl are leaving the game because of changes that they do not like, Can't please all I know, but one of the issues is the fact that players with smaller accounts say it is impossible to catch up with the larger accounts so by having another ranking page for each and every race would give ppl something else to work towards, which would be alot easier than getting rank 1 on the ranking page, the overal rank.
On Chaos they have race leaders so why not on sgw main
I don't think it would be confusing, why would it? if you wanted to know who is rank 1 you click on rankings and if you want to know who is currently race leader you would simply click on "Race Ranking"

well couldnt u find out just my going to rankings and just looking at the first page of rankings who is the first in every race???

Yes you can find out that way but would be slower. Having a Race Leader page would look better and will be quicker to find out that info.

So its more about prestige, huh?
You want the race leader to arise from elections or will it be the title of the best race member?
You can always find who is the best Tauri, Goauld, Asgard etc., just scroll the ranks from page one to...

na its rather good actually. id rather be on holiday than sitting on computer for the tedious first few days/week of gameplay
