Is there a rule on how many officers you can have?
My bro can't select me as his commander. I only have 2 officers counting myself. And I do have the Accept new Officers checked.

Your share the same IP i take it, as he is your brother, and people sharing IP's cant be officer/commander or trade.

Rhetorical question: Where does this belong?

You also have a tickbox that when ticked allows people to choose you as their CO, and when unticked prevents them (they don't have the option at all)

We have shared an IP on occasion but thats just at work. Our IP set up is weird cause I had a similar problem with one of my other bro's thats like 200 miles away but because the military uses a centralized Internet Provider. I couldn't give him anything but he could choose me as his commander. But my other bro that works closer can't even select me as commander. Could that be cause he's still PPT?
He's not biological bro he's just a good friend.

from what i understand if youve shared IPs at any time you cant trade resources. if youve shared ips recently u cant make them officer/commander. however, if the accounts havnt shared ips in a while (it a weeks i think) then they can have commander/officer relations. at least at least thats wat it was like for me and my bro when i went away for 2 weeks.

also, make sure the accept officers checkbox is selected

welll there is a couple of us ffrom school and we can play together but now trade but most of them where my officers unit they quit and that was on the schools ip
