Well I want to waste 24 Dollars in buying SS for someone (extra 4 cos I'm in Europe)
ANd anyway I went to check and this came up

There is a limit, though, of supporting and/or trading (see the marketplace) to a maximum of 3 times per calendar week, of which only 2 bonuses can be those that provide protected planet treaty applications (PPT) per calander week.

There is a limit of 3 donations&trades per week -although only 2 can be PPT bonuses each week for any one player. This is to ensure the game is fair to all. We thank you for your support in reaching that limit!
The 'week' renews after the last turn is given out during the 00:00 hour on Mondays.

Shouldn't there be an option of buying it for someone not for you?
