Alliance bank

With the new restrictions to an individuals bank (even though this was actually a fix to a bug) I think that having an alliance bank would make sense. A place where members can store money for the alliance to use in assisting with ascensions, wars, ppt, whatever may be needed. Perhaps even having a feature where members pay a % tax of their income that is deposited directly into the alliance bank.

I second Lord Rylans proposal.

get more miners = bigger bank space
or
use someone elses bank to bank your naq
or
buy weps with your naq, and when you have enough weps to sell them and have enough for the covert level, then do so
plenty of other options

The alliance bank is listed in the common suggestions section and there is already a discussion about it here: http://herebegames.com/StarGateWars/vie ... hp?t=21007
Since this thread here has a poll and is referring to recent updates, I will lock the old discussion about it. Please use this thread in future and don't open any new ones about the same thing. Thanks

Sorry, but no.
The new bank update is a good one. You now need some strategy to actually move forward.

there was a time where i had 1 mil army but at that time i didn't see the necesity of even having spy level 21 because it cost me over two days of my income. and i rather put that naq to use to get at's to farm or raid.
you should do that too instead of complaining that you can't overfill your bank

well the purpose of this poll isnt to complain about the fix tot he bank bug. This is about creating an alliance bank that could benefit alliances as a whole. Store resources in the event of war, assist with ascensions, etc.

awsome idea, the only possibilty of foul play is by the alience comader or 2nd, unlike in other ideas the required on member to hold it, they could just take off with the alience wealth

I think this is a must!
We are trying to run a tax in our alliance, but it is becoming impossible due to the new update (which is very good btw)
I think anyone in the alliance could add naq into the bank. While only the Alliance Leader and second in command (or maybe in the alliance management, the alliance leader could select a person) could withdraw.
When they withdraw they could have the option to send to any person in the alliance. Maybe create a sterile area between the alliance leader sending and the person picking it up. So the naq doesn't go into the open when the person is at school/work/asleep.
Also there should be a log of everyone who has inserted into the fund, and how much has been withdrawn and sent to certain people. To stop foul play from the Alliance Leader/Second in command.
That's what I think anyway

Rather than retype what I already put down, I'm just going to copy/paste my ideas from the old thread (since I know some people are lazy and can't be bothered to check the old thread

).
I like the idea of an alliance bank, but here's my spin on it:
-Don't fill it with a tax--that's one of the things that annoys me about chaos.
-No maximum size, but limit the ability to deposit to 25-50 % of a person's daily income. (ex, you make 8 million a turn=384 million a day, you can only deposit 96-192 million per day (depending on the limit percentage)).
-Alliance leaders and seconds can disburse to a specific player (NOT THEMSELVES) or split the bank among the alliance evenly (including themselves). As a note, a leader can give naq from the bank to a 2nd and vice versa, just not to themself.
-Must have been in the alliance for a certain length of time (1 week, perhaps) before able to deposit or request naq from the bank.
-Does not apply to any alliance of less than 5 people (to prevent abuse by single-person/very small alliances).
Pros:
-Allows an alliance to help all of its members regardless of how many have SS.
-Provides a "War Chest" that is easily sent to whichever members need help in a war.
-Increases the benefits of being in an alliance, promoting that aspect of the game.
-Will make wars more interesting, as a seemingly weak alliance can have a large war reserve and build up quickly to counterattack.
Cons:
-Provides "Un-Farmable" area to stash income (but that's why the limit above)
-Players without an alliance are cut off from this, but they chose to go it alone.
If put in properly, an alliance bank would add a whole new aspect to the game, both tactically and strategically.
I loosely based this off of another browser MMO that I played briefly. I didn't like the rest of that game, but I liked the alliance bank.
I didn't put in the original that there would need to be a record of contributions/disbursements, as I thought that that would go without saying.
Needless to say, I fully support this idea.
