Just a thought for another use for your covert troops...
Initiate an uprising
You send in your covert agents and if your covert strength is good enough then it can do a number of different things..
Convert enemy units to your own i.e Enemy super to your own super, enemy lifer to your own lifer, untrained to untrained etc
Possibly also steal weapons from the enemy dependant on your covert strengh.
Due to the fact that this would be one seriously easy way to acquire units and weapons it should have a chance of success.
I.e 1 in 10 or something, if you fail you loose a large amount of the covert operatives you send on the mission making it rather difficult to complete this task
What are everyones views on this?

Sounds like a good idea. I suggest making it easier to do but have it take a large number of covert turns.

i kinda don´t like the idea, would make big players even bigger <_<

well the big players pick on weak players and the weak ones pick on the weaker... its how it works with everything really...
The balance of power wont alter its just another feature for your covert if you think about it...

the title gave me an idea. altho could do with refining

it could be used as a bug tactic by untraining mercs. attackers/defenders to untrained useless mercs

by what you say every single update ever to come out again should do nothing, like untrained mercs lol
