It seems like a waste of money to me. You're paying for something that you can do from your home.

On the other side, you can meet other people who are interested in the same sorts of things, so it could be interpreted as a social gathering of gaming enthusiasts.

You won't even buy the $20 SS, much less go to that camp.

You've got to be kidding me...
Download Temulous, or Tribes, or the old DF2 ( :( )... even go quake.
Pwn zeh n00b0lets from your home comp. No reason to go to a camp.

Besides, going to camp you'll have to get used to a new keyboard/mouse/joystick/pedals-wheel, new monitor, new chair, new keyboard mount, new computer desk, new scenery...

I don't know about you, but my dracaena definitely aids headshots.
:D

-------
The only reason to go would be if you are suffering under an IGP like I am.

i gotta agree though, pwning n00bz0rs wit a new comp and chair and mouse would get me off my other game....I have tribes, just never really got into it...

might try DF2...and my computer is pretty good...anyhoo just kinda wondering what you guys thought of it...any other opinions?

Hehe, I've still got the CD just not the keycode :P
Such an improvement over DF1, and then Nova kills the series with Land Warrior... BHD was ok... mulitplayer was not the best, and then the CD blew up in my drive <_<

I don't think the nova is even providing match-service anymore. Move on, don't let my wistfull memories keep you from the now. :)

compared to bragging about beer on an online MMORPG that you play about a fictional Television show about a gate that travels to other worlds...

uh huh...

Mind the fact that now its big business
