Personnal Player

Another suggestion from me lol...
How about aswell as having your own army you have your own player,
The leader/god of your armies
When engaging in a battle your personnal player attacks the enemies personnal player?
With the more victorious battles the more experience he gains, buy individual enhancements for him such as staff weapons, cloaking tecnology, shield technology, transporter tech, matter phasing tech etc...
Also being able to purchase training improvements to increase his attack/defence and covert stats for the individual?
Could open a whole new challenge to the game, ive seen it on several other online rpg's and works well...
Instead of watching your fources attack you join them aswell, of course the sarcophogus prevents you from staying dead

It sounds like a game called 'Black and White'. Fun game..
But I don't think it would work out so well, a little bit complicated.

This is already in the game... the ascending self... you can upgrade it in the ascended server. Also it helps you with battles.... so what?
