Are newly ascended accounts able to be descended right away?

I remember reading that newly ascended accounts would have some period where they cannot be de-scended somewhere during all the descesion talk over last few months.
I know of an account that was newly ascended from last weekend and got descended.
Was this limit of descesion dropped or would this be a bug?
Can an account less then 2 weeks old in ascesion be descended ?
I want to find out if this was something forum decided to not implement, or if it was just not implemented properly.

bump........ This is an Important question
It seems a little unfair that an account that newly ascended this weekend can be descended as soon as the ppt is over, they have no chance

from experience.... yes, my 1 week old account is now descended

that should be fixed. Is not going in the direction of what descension was ment to do. The idea (as I understad it) is make u fight to stay in the server not fight to get into it. I also remember the 2 weeks period idea

it is (or should be) 60 days before an account can be descended or have the superweapon used on it...
i checked the code, and it looks ok - but i added a 'safety check' just now...
if someone can give me a game name or ID on an account that was descended within the first month of ascending (not reascending) I will see what exactly went wrong...

I will get the info from our members.
we had a member descended less then 7 days from his first ascesion........

ethragol was descended after his first ascesion less then 1 week later

arrrghghh ...
i spelled 'ascendedAttack' 'acendedAttack' and of course the 2 aren't equal, so it missed the check... NOW FIXED...
"That realm is new to the ascended plane. The Ascended Council grants limited protection to realms less than 60 eons (days in worldly time) old...This includes use of the Ascended Superweapon, and direct Ascended Being attacks, on them....

I used ethragol as a test, and did ascend attack him... then i gave back the LF and LFR that i took
