attack bug ??

Someone tried to attack me but they didn't get through the Asgard Hologram so it was basically a waste of 15 turns..but it says that 120 of my Undercover Agents were eliminated.
"The Anti-Intelligence Drone out spied, outintelled, outwitted and overall overpowered the defending Undercover Agents at their own game!
With 1,912,634,818 power remaining, they manage to eliminate 120 of Nick's Undercover Agents!"
"You watch as the enemy attacks your phantom, holographic decoy. You assess their forces, and watch as they fire their weapons. They are obviously upset upon seeing their efforts wasted."
Is this normal for Undercover agents to be killed even though the attacker didn't get through the Asgard Hologram?
