What are the Tok'ra???

I have recently read quite a bit on the tok'ra being allais of the tauri and such but i really have no idea nor know of no place to find them on he forums anyone care to enlighten a confused tollan?

Tok'ra are allies with the Tauri and Tollan
they are like the good gou'ld who share a body so either the host or the symbiot can talk

Have you never watched the first 6 series of SG1? They seem to feature quite alot there.

Have you never watched the first 6 series of SG1? They seem to feature quite alot there.
The tokra appeared first in season 2, episode two.Carter herself was infested by jolinar.
Then again in season2, episode's 12, 13. Carter's father in fact became a tok'ra host voluntarily.
PS: I have first thee season's so it was easy to look on the back of the box.

I believe he's talking about the ingame tok'ra...
As far as i know only two decent one's are left, Buck and Teal'auc...and then i think tok'ra himself...maybe... All the other tok'ra are either roaming the galaxy randomly or have been whiped out by the system lords.

[ZTL]Rebel you say you have 3 seasons of SG-1. well, i'm better .... have them all.
to bad there is no tok'ra ingame. i really wanted to see them in action. maybe they will de available in the MMORPG game SG: Worlds (if i remember correctly). boy oh boy, can't wait for that game

The Tokra use to be a race very early on in this game, but it was take down and replaced [ by replis I belive ]
Anyway Some members of the these forums claim they are 'Tokra' but they are just role playing. Some 'Tokra', ingame use to mass System lords etc and System lords also massed the known 'Tokra'.
But recently not much has happend between the Tokra and System Lords.

Why dont the Tok'ra just be the ascended Tauri, I mean, to my belief the Tauri and Tollan have no real correlation.

Actually, I think if somebody wants to be the tok'ra, there should be "another" ascended race you can choose instead of being a System lord.
