Merc update

Anyone else notice?

I see 1 big flaw here. If I read this correctly You can train 5 mill att and def men ( not supers). then buy Mercs. Untrain the UU and have a all merc army for a massing spree.

Just my take on it.

Yeah looks like someone could do that!
But they wouldn't be able to keep them long.

what's the difference between this and what you could do ages ago?
none.
so the 1% loss per turn just makes it better

You can have a maximum of *,871,813 Trained Mercs.
BEYOND THIS, NOT ONLY CAN YOU NOT GET MORE, BUT THEY WILL RUN AWAY IF GIVEN THE CHANCE!!! ABOUT 1% OF THE 'OVERLIMIT' WILL DISAPPEAR PER TURN.


If I read that correctly it means, if you train UU just to buy mercs and untrain the UU again, the mercs will start running away... and that's also what we we're talking about in the last admin chat :)

lmao. So easy to buy mercs now - just got 500K in one click. But also, because of the new update about mercs running away, you can't horde them for long periods of time. Awesome update.

Only downside is - 1% a turn isn't very many. If you really wanted (as Lore says) to train up a lot of guys, then buy out a few mil mercs off the market, then untrain the original guys, it would still be mildly feasible for short term purposes - ie: massing someone. :wink:

I can't say I like the update all that much..I picked up a million mercs last flip..that really shouldn't be possible, lol.

Well its all he could do since he said data tampering was legal. At least now everyone has the same chance at the mercs.

And the 100% merc armies for massing pourpuses was my point. Over all its good. I like it.

this sucks big time. now instead of 999 buying each bit you can buy 99999 which sucks as the first guy to get on there will buy all the mercs..sorry admin but this is a pointless upgrade and was better the way it was.
