why dont untrained Mercs show you army size bigger anymore ?

wait they have something to do with when your ascended, get you points or something, just remembered that, would be handy as my army size would increase 250k straight off.

they used to incresce it, but then an update came out a few months ago. i guess admin realised they didnt do anything any more

You cammander can see how many Mercs you have, it looks like i have nearly as many mercs as my total army lol

used to hav 1 mil then they were removed from the census. so i sold all but 50k to market. edit im talking about the untrainded mercs. hav many of teh other 2 types

the only thing mercs are useful for anymore is dying. Seriously, a percentage of the men you send into a battle die, and if you have mercs, it means more of your supers don't die.

Untrained mercs are great if you're wanted to boost APP cheaply.

i have 26.3 mil in mercs. im ascending soon and got them for that purpose.
should help me quite a bit with ascension points.

The reason they no longer count against your army size is the limits put in place. At 50 mill you can no long buy or sell UU on the broker. He removed the untrained mercs from the army size so they dont effect that limit.
