dear fellow Cia members, CoP members and all others that play SGW.

for this whole week we all were mass hungry and all we thought the best thing to do is mass everyone allover. well, let me tell you, war sometimes brakes friendships. some of you have friends who fight on your enemys side, so have i. i have made a terrible mistake today. i have ACed my dearest friend Mojo Rising together with a few alliance mates of mine. now, mark i feel sorry, and i mean it, very sorry. i should have never hit you, NEVER.

now this is a public apology to Mojo Rising, mate i hope we are still friends. seconds after i ead his msg to me ( it was rude but i deserved it) i thought of quiting this war . then i realised its because i want cop gone but i wanna keep my friends too. from now on, i wont ever again hit my friends, i promise

Real friends are big enough to see this for what it really is. Just a game.

Yes, I realize it is just a game and that it is a war game at that. But even in a war game, such things as honor still exist and mean something. If Lajh had looked at his attack logs more closely in both main AND ascension, he would have seen that, though there were many DD/D-12 members on his attack log, I was not among them. I even told my alliance mates right up front that I would not attack Lajh. He and I had come to an understanding even before he had joined DD. When he left, I thought it was implicity understood that that agreement was still in place. To everyone who is on my attack logs currently, I advise you to quit the game right now. Because you will not enjoy a moment's peace from here on out. In main or ascension. I will put my considerable resources to work and make sure that you never have any bonuses in main again. Blahh, you are actually the only one on my attack logs that has a right to be there, because you are the only one on my attack logs that I actually attacked first. But you are still going down like the rest of them. But as Ahhnald says in Commando, "I like you Blahh; that's why I am going to kill you last."

Anyone who's at war with DD/D12 has a right to be in your attack logs.

Isnt this a nice attitude... You see a copule of these in any CoP related thread... I tell ya, for ppl constantly blebbering about how its a war game and tell others to live with it or quit, you sure seem to take it personally when the boot is on the other foot for a change... One more thing to add to the "why I love CoP list"

you gotta ask yourself dude, are they really freinds?

If they are willing to throw away a freindship over a game then they seriously are not worth your time or your freindship.

Really? Could you please show me a post where I told someone to live with it or quit? I really would like to know. Because I know that I have not. Have I asked people to quit? Yes. Many times. But we are digressing from the original point of this thread which was Lajh's apology to me, which I have accepted. Thank you Lajh. BTW, I recommend you leave Legion and the rest of your Slovenian entourage IMMEDIATELY. For there are a few others who promised no hostilities and broke that agreement and they will be dealt with harshly. I would hate to see you get caught up in the crossfire.

I've only come to know new people over this war, besides it is loads of fun.

To those that did lose friends, I hope you find them again. Real life friends is one thing, but its nice to know some people in sgw as well. I dont know anyone in rl that plays, so if i'd only stick with rl friends ingame i'd be rather lonely

Why can't you just look at their points and accept their opinions?

I had to raid lajh in ascended the other day. He denies it but I was going every turn on him, and he jumped to vacation mode because, well there was either that or raided every turn. I wasn't exactly happy doing it, but, meh. Its actually a game, I hate people saying that, but friendships in this game are around this game, if you leave/quit they probably wont last, you probably wont talk ever again, you just gotta be less serious about it all.

i think we need to keep some perspective here...

regardless if you are real life friends or ingame friends (or as in my case, have both)

this has been said to death and i will say it one more time...this is a game!

many of us have been playing this game for over a year now, we interact with each other on a daily basis, be it ingame, forum, alliance forums, msn, Pm, Chat or by any other means that one can think of.

we need to face the fact that we have become a community in action...

that means we don't use the word "community" in threads just because it sounds good, we use it because its fact!

now if it is indeed "fact" we also need to show each other a good deal more respect regardless if we are friend or foe, ally or enemy.
