NOX.

Do You want NOX to go back to the way it was before the update.

I am posting this due to the request in a receent admin discussion on IRC.

arg... yeah so people can abuse it... bad idea mate. Personally I think nox should either be taken out all together (this is a war game after all), or have the game setup in such a way that massing trips alliance wars and therefore invalidates anyone in those related alliances who may be using nox.

I dislike the way it is currently... its easily abused... all you have to do is go bang nox off, nox on, 6 turns and you can attack away, its pointless setting war to someone because all it lets them do is destroy you as fast as their internet connection... an attack on a player (or say like... over 20 turns used) on a player should disable the nox... and if you have someone to peace, I'm sure sure entirely how it works at the moment, but I think it should reduce the attacks on you to something so that your defence can't be massed quickly... (may have to do it over say 6 hours rather than 10 minutes) eg the nox kicks in if you have them to peace at say 15-20 attacks or something. *shrug* :-)

I'm not sure how exactly the forum flood control works, was thinking more that the nox if you have them set to peace kicks in at 15-20 attacks or something, but still goes down at the same rate... just got the feeling that would be too easily abused though, what if instead of stoping attacks the nox um... I dunno help you defend or something, the more attacks on you the more effective your defence is.. mabye have that value partially depended the highest level of your defence... say it was 5 bil, for every 10 attacks on you the nox adds an extra 5 bil defence, or mabye 2.5 bil defence and 25-50% of your current defence.. (also dependent on war/peace settings)... mabye a feature where if you attack a person more than 5 times in a 24 hr period you must set war to them to keep pattacking, however things such as assasins would need to be reworked.. but I think they need to be reworked anyway :)

Let me state this is not my idea. i was in teh chat with Forum and others the othernight and they were to lazy to come here to post the vote. Forum said post a vote and let the community decided. they end. dont take this as my idea. cuz i coudl really care less
