His yearly income remained number one in the industry untill acouple of years ago, and he was only NO. 2 for that one year i think.

Well, he is a legend, as in times of his biggest popularity he has become idol for many ppl, especialy women and many people like to believe that he is still aliave. But sorry folks, he is not...

He really is 'THE KING', I listerned to him alot when I was younger and still like him, he was voted the number 1 singer of all time in a mag I read recently. And rightly so.
