Gustav Mahler

Well, if anyone shares my opinion on Gustav Mahler, I will be surprised and impressed... 
I grew up with his symphonies and I will never get bored listening to them. IMHO Mahler was the greatest composer ever and nobody can express emotions through music like he could. My favourite Symphony is No. 2 "Resurrection" - makes me cry every time. The best interpreter when it comes to Mahler's symphonies was Sir Georg Solti (Chicago Symphony Orchestra, later London Philharmonic Orchestra).
