It's an internation holiday dedicated to something Irish...i cant remember all the history behind the day
But i do know this is something that is at least worthy of this/that. As someone partially Irish myself, can i ask one of this sections mods to move this to this/that...in respect to a national/international holiday?

under the arguement of having a christmas thread in this and that and the drinking holiday for Irish and other alike, moved to this and that
"In the recent past, Saint Patrick's Day was celebrated only as a religious holiday...Christian leaders in Ireland have expressed concern about the secularisation of St Patrick's Day. Writing in the Word magazine (March 2007), Fr. Vincent Twomey stated that, "it is time to reclaim St Patrick's Day as a church festival".

Yay for St Patrick's Day! Irish unite.
Maybe we should mass people to celebrate. Wait, we're already massing!
