"all skill" server

i know that obviosly the creator of this game is spending all this time on it so he can make money, and im sure he is doing pretty well from it

. however, i would love to have a server (like the main server) except there can be no money put into the game to get ingame extras. i know there is not much that can be done from one player paying another for ingame goods, but that is not really the issue. some of you may have known me when i used to play, when the game was new. i then stopped playing once i realized that the only way ahead in any of the servers was to just buy your way to that top, i didnt have the money, or the desire to do that. so now i am back on (with a new name) and wondering if the creator of this game would consider what i am saying here, a server that the top spots can only be attained by skill, and not cash.
please say what you think about this idea

isnt it true that if you ascend multiple times you can help your ascended self?
(and lone bad wolf, yeah its been in the suggestions page like 3 million times and it worked 0 times, i figured id give it a new shot :], thanks)

yes everytime u ascend u can help improve your ascended account
however u can only ascend a max of 10 times
there is no trading on the server so u carnt rely on handouts
all in all with every online game there is 3 ways to make it to the top
1. hard work
2. hard cash
3. mix of the above
each way has it's advantages and disadvantages

Main is used to power your ascended account, so essentially if you are strong in main you can use that as an advantage in ascended.
That aside, from what i understand all money that players spend on the game, admin uses to keep all the servers goin. Some people sell stuff for cash, but that's another story, if admin is actually makin money off the game, it certainly wouldn't be at a great rate compared to how much time he puts into the game.

im a top player and i havent spent money on this game, well other than about $70 on main which over 2 years aint much in my books, yes i have spent money on other ones that he has but that doesnt deal with the main point u have saying u need to pay to b good wehn u dont, just time and effort is what is needed

im not saying hes getting rich, just that hes doing okay for the game. and like just stated, one can buy their way into ascension several times thus extremely helping their ascended account.

The problem with ascended server is that the top accounts are better than say 80% of all main accounts already rendering that point of veiw pretty useless i mean i make 300K per turn in ascesion and 450 or so UP theres people with 1 bil + and 100's of K UP as for the suggestion of a skill game well mate unless you remove trading AND turns this will not happen as if you check the cross server section you will see naq is buyable for resources from the other servers and then left out to be taken (an unsafe trade but nonetheless a trade indeed) so turns would have to be removed or atleast attacking others, which would mean making a stat building server where everyone starts the same and only peoples mathematical plans would determine their outcome in the rankings which quite frankly would be very boring but hey id play that it would be interesting to try out

An all skill server would require no $$, no person to person transactions, No identifiable markings of any kind so that no alliances can form, and no ranking system.

Im not a top player but I blame that on starting late, when I first started this account I let it sit months building turns. Never traded till much latter etc...
Never spent a nickle on the game. Paid for SS when you could in market long ago.
That said, don't assume those at the top bought their way, Most have been here very active since the begining. And now with Raiding and the Army Cap just about any player with lots of hard work can build themselfs up. Very quickly now days with the huge Naq you can raid per attack and the 3 ATs per turn. Basically a new player can do in a month what it took most of us 7 months to accomplish. And with some cash can do it much faster.
But I always felt it was even more enjoyable using Hard Work to fight those with $$$.
This is still 98% a skill server, I really dont belive an all skill server would make a difference. The only thing that may would be a parallel server and honestly the same player will rise to the top with a few additions.
I see many players that come back to the game start with nothing and be a force again on their own very quickly.
Just keep working on this account and play it smart.
Lores idea is unique, having someway to not know any of your enemies or friends, no idea how it would be possible while being able to see others resources (maybe just a range).

I disagree with you here for the simple fact that alliances replace a great deal of skill.
And no the same players wouldn't rise in my world as the active players would actually be fighting each other instead of grouping together. With no ranking system and no identification you have no idea who you are hitting and who is hitting you.

Well, it is a skill in a way to be in the right alliance. Though I have spent 60% of my life here as a loan wolf.

I have spent less the 6 days without an alliance of some sort in the year i been here. I like to interact with people to much.
