Reading about the different forms for government in the other thread gave me an idea for a game.

You post a situation that a person would have to face as leader of a nation. They answer how they and only they would deal with it. Along with their answer they post a situation for the person below them.

Please only answer the person above you, even if there is one you are really interested in above them.

I'll get us started.

Youth crime in your nation is getting out of hand, daily mugging and assaults are now in the hundreds. What do you do you bring order to the youth population?

Make the schoolday longer. increase punishments like delaying driving licenses and what not to those who have records. I would also set a crufew and anyone caught outside without a reasonable and viable excuse would be confined to jail for the night.

Forgot the problem- A earthquake devestates two large cities and the surrounding ares within your nations. Riots and looting are everywhere. Certain gang leaders are establishing small "kingdoms" and are the cause serious problems. What do you do?

If possible gather support from neighboring city and volunteers. Use the remaining law enforcement/security to stop looting and riots. Use outside support to crush the small kingdoms while they're still small.

Problem: You're on the moon. You've only got two minutes of oxygen left before you have to go back to the ship. You've gathered a lot of information that would help the arth technologically, but you see a largebook with writting unlike any other you've ever seen sticking out of the dirt about 50 yards away. You don't have any reserve oxygen left on the ship except on Earth. The book could possibly be useful or be nothing. What do you do?

Cut your losses. Head back home ASAP with what you know.

Proble,- Your nation's goods are being boycotted because their quality is poor. Corporations are resistant to change for fear of losing profits and your country's trade deficit is seriously out of wack. What do you do?

You create requirments for companys and annual inspections to increase the quility but not slow the quantity.








Problim:

You are the Vice leader of ur country, u hear of an assasination plot to kill the leader and make you the president/ leader. The President/leader is a friend that you known for 4 years.

Do you tell him about it and atempt to save him or let them kll hm so u get more power

HOWEVER find the date and time and make it exactly fifteen minutes after said attempt, if it works your in power but try and save him, if it fails your the concerned friend getting to him

Problem:

Your country is growing and its small company's are getting taken out by larger corporations from larger company's. the larger company's leave due to new tax's and your left with nothing, how do you keep your country growing?

I dont know about you guys, but youth rules the realwolrd basically.. I mean honestly the high schools near the coast are packed with Import drugs.. Mainly towards the south though. They have all the gangs and Crips and bloods.

My younger brother, when i was an senoir I watched him come to High school in 9th grade. Join this gang called Crip.. he was is in for about year.. went to the movies one night.. and was stabbed to death.. supposely over showing his blue bandit hanging out of his back pocket.. from his friends

Cops had no subects they know what gang did it, but you know what could they honestly do? Youth society is corrupted and alot of Viloince. If we try to restrain we would get an big roit, and also increase of more crime. If you go to any public high school over 80% of the kids are on drugs.

Place tariffs on the larger nation's companies and begin trading with other nations by encouraging them to invest because of cheap labor. Then, slowly begin nationalizing the companies that answered the call.

Problem:

A smaller nation is imposing on your borders. Repeated attempts to make them stand down have failed, mainly because the offending nation has an ally with vast resources at its command and will step in if serious military aggression is taken on your part. How do you deal with the smaller country?

Send a security to the border (not major, just an early warning) and make sure that they do not attack me. Say that you will NOT start any aggression, and if any wars happen that pull an allya in are your fault. I wouldn't start a war at all.

Problem- Three major ethnic groups in a community have levels of violence increased. One doesn't want to stop, the only thing they want is the other two to leave. The second one has had a history with the third group trying to eradicate it in a different country and the third group is forced to rect violent, as they have less people, and a more vulnerable cummunity.

I think i have the best solution ever.

Stop having children.


Easy.

Have a meeting with the leaders of each group and show them ways they have helped eachother in the past, and give htem an alltamatum of jail for life or they stop fighting and behave.



(Youth violence is a big problim there are alot of gangs were im from to, best thing is to not get involved. While there are lots of gangs most of them still dont mess with police, even thought they dislike them).


Problim:

Your country has had repedate threats from another country of nuclear attacks unless your conform to what they ask of you. You can allow them to take over and loose the support of your followers, your repeadet atempts to gain an alliance with larger nations have failed and will not be helpful any time soon. The other country is completly blind to reason and will not back down.

Do you:

A) Go to war and atempt to win.

B) Allow them to overtake you.

C) Continue to presue diplomatic relations with other nations even though
you know they will never help you.

D) Other (Please specifie)

d) personally I would attempt to devise a weapon of equal strenght of their fission devices or stronger and then ignote a war. If it became apparent that victory was not attainable I would sue the weapon and exterminate my enemy at the cost of myself and my people.

Political parties are gaining power and sectarian violence is increasing due to it. The country is in chaos what do you do?

Much as it pains me to say it you take the country into a state of totalitariasm untill matter calm down. After things begain to cool you slowly reignite peoples rights.




Problim:


Immagrants are bringing dieseases with them from other countrys you have no way of tracking the diesease back to its origin country to get a cure, 100,000 people are all ready infected you dont have the time or rescorces to make a cure for all of the people. The countrys you have asked for help are demanding more money than your govenrment has, they refuse any type of payment plan... You are forced into a desicion.

A) You can stop the immagrants and icolate the 100,000 and hope they dont all die.

B) You can do illegal and inhuman expirements on the immagrents to find a cure.

C) Other (Please specifie)

Isolate the contaminated people in a deserted location. Then, attempt to cure the disease, but without too inhuman experiments.

You turn to the conservative right who is fighting to keep criminals in Jail. You turn on the left who is allowing criminals to walk free and endanger the life of citizens and you eliminate them.


Question: There is a radical leader gaining support. His policies make no sense, but he plays on the fear of a minority of people. Due to his speeches, violence is incited against a majority. What do you do to the radical leader?
