Sarcophagus revivals

Ok, this is the first suggestion that I have thought of and posted on the forum.
How about introducing a sacrophagus to try and revive some of the men that are killed in attacks.
After being attacked there would be an opportunity for some (or all) of the killed units to be revived using a sarcophagus.
It would cost 'turns', or 'naq', or MT's or possibly nothing to do the revival process. The % of men revived would vary between 0% - 100% and would be completely random (kind of like when using an MT to build a planet - you risk building a blank planet, so in this case you risk reviving none).
The reason I suggest it to be random is because the bigger players would more likely be able to afford to revive all lost men, so at least this way it would give younger accounts an equal chance of reviving their men.
The suggestion continues..... As a result of being killed and revived they will have received some mind trauma and would be revived as untrained units, which would then need to be re-trained as defenders or other type of army. Or due to the mind trauma they could only be fit for mining and so they would automatically become a lifer upon being revived.
There could also be a time limit on how long you can take to revive them. i.e. if you don't revive them in 24 or 48 hours then it's too late and they are gone for good and you can't revive them.
I have given this quite a bit of thought, but there may be flaws in it, I don't know. Please tell me what you think. Shoot it down, beef it up, whatever you want!

but then that'd take away from the repli's unique tech, it wont be unique anymore

the % should be constricted to 20 to 80 % or something along those lines.
It should have a time limit from the attack and be very expensive.

The issue with it being very expensive would be that younger accounts won't be able to afford it if it was in naq tho.

Base it on the amount of troops.
If its cheap then the bigger accounts can raise all their dead.
This war for example. I have lost around 9 mill men total. Others have lost better then 15 mill if I was guessing. If we can raise all those men cheaply it would be chaos. Wars would never end if you have a renewable source of UU.
The use of MT may go along way toward limiting the amount of dead raised.

I was thinking MTs would be a better way of 'raising' the dead.

I see potential in this idea.

this would actually only be a tech to the goa´ulds, so they have to be more techs for the otehr races introduced, and also for the repli thing:
the actual repli unique tech should be improved, so that they can actually revive more of their units then the goa ulds, i would also suggest a "paper, stone, scissor" system. like: tau´ri can kill more replis units then goa´ulds can, and asgards even less units ect.. so what i am thinking of is an improvenment of the bonuses/uniques techs and this "paper, stone, Scissor" system, srry don´t know hwo its called in english ...

Erm, the Goold do this as their tech, they get a % of all the UU/mercs killed in battle, its basically the same as the replis I think I actually can't remember.

isn´t that actually a different thing? like, putting the enemy as slaves?

it's called "rock, paper, scissors", so not that far off...
anyways, good idea, but the other races' stuff need improvement if this is implemented... and they need something that is different, to make races even less similar...

They have to die, goauld revive using sarcophagus's. It's basically there already.

300,000 naq per 1 unit increases by 50% per 1k lost
a newbie with 1k attackers that unluckily and impossibly losses all his UU in one attack it cost them 300mil naq for 1kuu which is only half price of the market.
whereas someone thats losing say 50kuu per attack is paying 300mil for the first 1k 450mil for the second and so on only half the price of normal UU on market for smaller players but more costly for bigger players and ONLY a revive all button meaning whether you receive 0% or 100% everytime you are paying for all yor UU also meaning bigger players cant just revive the first few thousand and leave the rest (so dont make it like weps where you can choose what to repair you either have the money and the will to try or you dont).
also id say they auto go back to supers too so it doesnt become a bug for untraining supers.
another thing you could also add is counting mercs at full cost but at a zero return rate making it even more unlikley for the bigger players to bother buying back while smaller players wont even have mercs more than likely. but id say they are at a set 300mil per 1k no 50% added per 1k for them.
