Your name in hieroglyphs

Nice idea, though like so many other of these name things (e.g. all the LotR ones) totally inaccurate.

The ancient Egyptian language and modern English are too different to simply inscribe your name in their letters.

For a start, they didn't have any vowels.

Taure has nothing to do with Stargate: it is the Word for "wood" (as in forest) in Quenya, Tolkien's Elvish.

My name in English means "wood", therefore my name in Elvish is Taure.

I got all that from the appendices of The Silmarilion, so I know it is correct, unlike the various so-called Elvish names that internet sites give you.

the ancients "dont exist", except in the stargate universe. yet serveral people can hold down a conversation in their language. :wink:

plus, *looks around*, should i even mention the goauld language? :lol:
