For those of you who follow politics, english or world, how would you rate Tony Blair. I ask this largely because i study politics, but also because he won't be in power much longer. So do you think he has been a good prime minister or a bad one.

Any twonk voting him to be a good PM needs to take a good hard look at his last 10 years in charge & then look at the previous 18 years by the tories. TB has done more damage to the UK they the tories, as hated as they are have ever done in history
In 10 years TB has created more peers than the Iron Lady did in her 11.
in 10 years he has created over 3500 new criminal offenses, by a curious spin however they almost all use civil fines.
Justice is a word that has gone out of teh window with Summary judgements, meaning you are not allowed to defend your actions, you are simply found guilty with no chance of appeal.
Taxes have despite the constant election promises risen steadily under his premiership
the UK accounts for 1% of the worlds population, we accoutn for 20% of the worlds cctv cameras.
We are since TB came to power and even more so recently the most surveiled society in the 'western' world. You movements are tracked by means of train tickets, ANPR. The government is researching ways to record how you walk & your face so you can be recognised on cctv.
I could go on but I think those alone are enough for anyone with a rose tinted view of TB to think again, however I could post more.

I heard it was a total failure between the cameras on all the streets and the bush-likely politics (he's meant to be in left, not in ultra-liberalism side like bush)...Not to mention sending troops to Iraq!
So I say he is bad!

Ah i love politics. you raise some very good points, i didn't know that 20% camera fact. However i don't mind blair simply because a number of reforms under his premiership has helped my family a lot. However most of these admittedly came from Brown and the exchequer. However i wouldn't say he was the worst, but he wasn't the best.

Moron?
He's managed to get people locked up without trial, he's managed to basically pass any bill when he blames terrorism, and he's managed to get us to invade a country for a reason that turned out to be false. Oh and he's been voted in 3 times in a row!

I'm not so sure. Labour has done some reasonable things and some questionable things. They have fixed the economy after the Tories ran it to the ground, but they haven't been as tough on crime as they should be. They've increased spending on the NHS, but they have ruined the Armed Forces.
I think Tony Blair's biggest failure was to appoint people who have no idea what they are doing in positions of power. I mean, would you appoint someone who knows nothing about Hospitals and Health Care as the Health Secetary?
The only thing he got bang on was appointing Gordon Brown as Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Well ultra liberalism grew while he was/is in power, so in a way he's!

no...not at all....And I like Blair, My relatives hate him but i think hes doing what the US should be doing. Sadly we have self serving senators who only care about re-election and not the people.

He is extreme right, but extreme extreme left would really be the same thing.
A right winger should be against big government, but Bush it seems has a big brother streak.

Overall , i wouldnt call him the worst, Im pretty sure the worst is yet to come *coughs gordon browns name* And then after that the devil himself, Mr Cameron...
no, tony blair has not been the worst prime minister, in my opinion honestly, hes been Competent most of the time, Hes done some things which he did agree to do in his manefesto, and some things have yet to be done...but you cant win them all...Hes done a few stupid things, but in all honestly, i dont think any prime minister could bring this country back from the brink of abosultely Rubbishness that it now stands at.

I agree, hes done alot of crap things, but is there anyone better to be honest, Gordon Brown was on TV the other day, and he may want to me PM, can see it now, new PM is Gordon Brown, ok new TAX 50% of your income comes to me, and only me, hahaha thats what you get for voting me in,
End of the day they all used this Iraq to get Blair out, do i think hes good, (No because they whole, WE DONT DEAL WITH TERRORISTS is [Spacey edit out] when he gave them everything they want over in N.Ireland), but at this moment in time there is no one better to take his place.
