Is anyone planning a south UK convention yet, if not please do!!!!!!!

Bit of an update:

We need a location: Torbay as there is also a beach!!!

Accomodation: We need some local to offer up their house!!!!! lol, or cheap hotel.

Date:: To be decided.

And we need people to say, i will be there!!!!

When you say south do you mean London or really south like Cornwall or Dorset?

Down south somewhere
Id say around london area as Cornwall or Dorset is a little tucked away
london is more central to the south

Umm not london. Id like to live through the convention lmao.

I was thinking somewhere along the M4 so its easy to get too, 2 mins looking at the map looks like oxford is between two big motor ways, but would be best to go near an adults place that knows the area.

Surely London is the logical solution for the "south" due to rail links?

id be more than interested in another convention more down south. and id think london was a good place to do it. easy road travel, and if its towards the centre bus and train (or even plane) travel would be relatively easy.

yeah more i think about it london is pretty good choice, as long as it is easy to find and get too and outside the conjestion zones *i live off a student wage* lmao.

So anyone live there? I think george aka avenger lives near there somewhere, but he is offline atm.

I would suggest maybe just outside of london, too risky in the city to have mass gathering when the police are all trigger happy

depends if i give a lift too 4 other people or not.

And will look into transport at a later date lol.

But if we can find 1 person who can really offer a date aswell as accomodation (One reason i want my car, just incase no beds left lol, nice warm seats) and have a good knowledge of the local water holes then we are set to go.

Why does everyone think you will get killed in London?

hmm, well i was there doing a survey of local housing estates, passed a group of youths, really had a bad feeling, only myself and the weedyest co-worker in the world so 20-2 wasnt a good situation to get in.

And i really dont like city centres for a pub crawl, i always end up fighting over what my mate just did to the other guys best mates sisters friened's boyfriend lol

So outside london where there are 10+ pubs to go around would be ideal, also a nice big garden to crash in with lots of beer to finish off the night.

(Another reason for a car, easier to bring along lots of beer).

Your more likely to be shot in london than anywhere else, and a shooting can be higly fatal. You see up here in the north we either use a bottle or knife, up close and personal but you are more likely to live through it

maybe you are more likely to get shot in london than anywhere else...if you are a gangster riding around in a bright purple cadillac shotuing "what up homies, y'all can suck my g-dog" (whatever that might mean). but the odds of getting shot, stabbed or knifed in any part of the country arent really worth worrying over.

but it would be nice if we could be somewhere near a coach station again. then maybe we could get some of the northern lot from the first convention down 'southside' way?
