no way with britains military and economic power added fully in would boost the EU so much. ERRF will soon be coming active. We will be one people, one currency, one army! now all we need is one leader and to agree on one language(english of course) and we are sorted

but then theres the requirement for unanimous agreement ie france
until a unamaimous agreement occurs creating this confedracy wont be as strong as it could be. the national identity situtation will find a balance eventually IMO. The soverign countries who give up some of their powers to a higher created governmental body to benefit the whole will be ironed out

We can crush Iran on our own thanks, we dont need some bloated festering half rotted ex marshall plan EU superstate to help us.

If only we could shake off how bloody useless and scared we have become

I can only imagine... it's bad enough with the UN sitting in New York... I don't know what would happen if the EU wasn't separated from us via a pond. I think it's amazing you've lasted so far, an appauld yalls efforts.
We don't seem to be doing quite so hot over here...

Besides, you guys do seem to have your Houses in order;
I don't know if anything gets done but every time I tune in I see what appears to be an exhaustive workout going on.
"AYE!"
"NAY!"
etc.

Our senators just sort of wander aimlessly up to the podium, guided by two aids like a derelict hulk being pushed by tugboats, and give a speech about mother's day, or try and dedicate a post office after themselves, or some activist that gave their life while testing a more eco-friendly toothbrush. :P

----------
So there's hope for you yet... :)

<sefledit>
Hmm... that was more partisan than I intended...

no no spacely its not about differeing political views its about countries that make acts of war, they deserve to find out that when you play with fire you get burned. it has nothing to do with a differing political view at all, simply that they made an act of war against the uk

yep, they made, but have you ever heard of diplomacy? Is it wise to drag millions of people in UK into war just because of 15? Besides, those 15 were soldiers, on duty and working in dangerous territory anyway, anything could happpen to them. While others are civilians...

We should have given iran a 12 hour deadline days ago. Who do they think they are messing with us??? Bunch of rag heads with guns imho. They shouldnt be allowed to have electricity let alone nuclear power.

They simply arent civilised enough to have the power they are developing. We should take care of this threat now, before it becomes too big.

Yes i've heard of diplomacy, but they have done this before and now they have done it again. this obvisouly means they consider us impotent to act against them, well we arent and shouldnt be afraid to show we arent

have you heard of hitler? sounds alot like appeasment.

Britain doesnt have to have a single soldier enter iran or lose anyone. surely the navy and airforce can level it.
