thought it should be here as its asended stuff,
if you descend someone do they get a message saying something like 'you have been descended by xxx' ? or is it practicly untracable?

I don't know about the message; but I assume that they will have access to their attack logs.
Vengeance would be quite possible were that the case.

If they are active they would see you in their attack logs, if not then they should probably expect some sort of forum post or gloating message about them getting descended by the person that descended them lol.

I'm very curious for more details about this. Would someone please describe just what they did to descend someone else. Or, point me to the correct thread if I missed it somehow somewhere else.

Just attacked them directly. Didnt even bother to take out their defence first. Just direct God assaults. Three full attacks normally do the job. Managed to descend eight guys before I ran out of attack turns.

You can still log in and see everything and it tells you how long you will still be descended for.

I've got a question about descension too, so I thought I'd put it here instead of starting a whole new thread.

When a person is descended, they lose the ascended benefits on main, right?

Does this include the more powerful weapons?

when you get descended, do you lose you bonuses forever. AKA if you are LG +1 do you lose the 30% bonus and go back to being like a tauri waith a tollan tag?

No, descension lasts for 14 days (I think it's 14 at least).

if u get descended, when u login u have a big warning in red letters, in the main page saying with the countdown of the time, yes it is 14 days, u loose ur ascended bonus in main for that time, u can still see ur attack logs, covert logs, everything, u just cant do anything, even if u have dmu out

after the 14 days u get a 5 or 4 day ppt

@Logic, yes u loose ur 30% bonus, but no u dont go back on being a tauri, cause the tauri get a 25% bonus on strike u get 0% on everything

Think of it like on the show. SG-1 wiped out the ORI (or so they claim) but they still had to contend with the priors and their warriors with their weapons on the main plane of existance.
