OK on the 20th I'm going for military training (AIT). For those in the US military. I'll be gone for 4 weeks, what does everyone think I should do

Now I have to decide should I convert all my troops to lifers and become a farm

Or go on Vacation Mode

Were you goin for AiT ? I did mine at relaxin jackson.

indeed vacation mode... if you become farm you will probably get massed and stuff so you wont have any profit if you do become

Beats OSET in Ft. Knox though. I never want to go through that again

That depends if I deploy as an attachment to another unit or with my Petroleum supply comp.

If I'm attached then yes if not we'll be running convoy escorts

you should have made yourself a farm and told all your alliance members to farm you, atleast then when you come back you'll have some turns, and unless you had a really big defence that you sold those are probably worth more. It'd be nice, you come back to 4k turns and all that naq from you defence sititng in your bank waiting for you, plus you'll also be helping your commander.

You could find a trustworthy friend to take care of your troops for you. Untrain miners and send them off. When you get back you retrieve them, plus a compensation for them borrowing your troops for that time. In the meantime, turn your account into a farm, and use the compensation to rebuild some defense when you get back. Tell the friend to also raid you occasionally to keep your UU count down.

that's what I did when I had to take off from the game for a month and a half (about a year ago).
