Dune Alliance

I have offered this alliance to all sides for people to join for as long as they need.

untill a cease fire can be sorted.

smooshable has put a plan forward, it may need some changes but i am sure reasonable people can come to some agreement.

this would be a temporary arranement.

there can be no mistake if you are still attacked in this alliance & if you attack while in it you will be expelled.

It is your choice to join or not to.

Its just an idea that may help the process to go smoother

Due to Real Life (work) I do not have the time to participate in this war.. I was trying to, but not being able to login for 5 out of 7 days in the week basically made it practically impossible for me to partipate with any meaningful use, or to enjoy it.

I have joined STI's D U N E alliance, yet I'm still getting attacked by CIA members:

I have had others since I left Alpha Allegiance, but I ignored them because they were so close to when I left... and before I was accepted into D U N E. I have also ascended again, since then... The above is the first attack on me by a member of The Foundation (currently participating in the war) against me since I withdrew over 2 weeks ago.

I will post more as they happen... I haven't attacked, farmed, or done anything to anyone on any side in this war since I joined STI's alliance...

I wish I would have kept the messages, but Robe keeps telling me to officially surrender to CIA... Something about Avitir's Surrender Terms for CoP members from CIA.

I haven't and never will Surrender... I haven't given up... Real Life comes first, therefore I have "withdrawn" from the war.

All the people that matter in CoP know of my reasons, and I spoke to them before I left Alpha Allegiance. After the war I may rejoin them if I have more than 2 days out of the week to play, but Alpha is a very active alliance, and that means you must be active in game... IMO 2 days a week isn't enough at this time, specially during a war.

I take honor very seriously and so far, from my conversations with Robe, it seems there's a LACK of it in regards to those in the war to those that have withdrawn from the war. I haven't named names, because I have only one example (mine) to use, and do not know if others have had the same problem as me.

Robe has told me she has posted all Dune alliance members in her alliance Forum, we need time for the messages to get out. There will be mistake on both sides.

people have already shown that they will send repair damage if needed.

any further reports of attacks on any alliance member please post here so it will give the leaders a chance to deal with it

Read my post "A few thoughts" on the principles of neutral alliances such as this. Omegan members are FORBIDDEN to mass anyone in the DUNE alliance, but if anyone joins such alliances just to recover and get back in the war..all sides must agree to shun such a person.

Sounds extremly reasonable.

The Foundation does not wish for anyone (either side) who does not want to fight in the war to do so. If they wish to leave their current alliance for the remainder of fighting then so be it. Please do remember as STI said that mistakes do happen and there can at times be a bit of lag in getting information to all players.

Of course if they continue to hit us after they have left we will hit back

if any member who has joined Dune attacks either side inform me straight away, i will deal with it asap, they will be expelled.

i keeping a eye on these players cuase sooner or later ppl will use that allaince as a shield too regain strength....

If you have left your alliance for whatever reason you have surrendered to the fight and if you have joined Dune, you have promised not to re enter the battle.

However, if you do not follow the surrender process outlined by Avitir in the Colosseum, then old attack logs can mistakenly be used to farm accounts that are no longer fighting.

STI and I are working on a process to reduce the risk of this happening again - its not perfect, but we are trying our best.

Patience on both sides will make this easier.

Not that you have surrendered to the alliances you are/were fighting

I was thinking how to put it.

This alliance is for people who have said the war is at a stalemate, when you have 0 defnce you do not need to surrender, whats the point you all know you can carry on for ever like this


so in this case surrender by either side will never happen.

what we have here is a temp place for people to come until others come to some solution, then they can rejoin there alliances with honour, because of the fight they have put up.

as for people joining here to rebuild to come out again, i think everyone will look on this in a very poor light. so the fool who would do this, would suffer the SGW fury aswill the vultures of the war, who if you look around have grown alot. while you have all been concentrating on this war.


EDIT: I am not saying for people to surrender, nor am I asking it, it's pointless as I stated above. They are leaving the war because they feel it's a stalemate, not because they give up. And they leave with their honour.

have asked for all attacks by there alliances on any Dune member to be reported.

SVaRuN at the begining told me TL would honour this.

lol yes rebuild so it can all be smashed again lol, I really don't think this will be a problem.

I have told my alliance not to attack members of D U N E. Tell me if somebody will that I can deal with him/her immediatly please.

there's something that confuses me a bit....there are people who I've noticed (in CoP mostly, don't watch CIA members closely, but I do think here are some doing it aswell) that are quitting alliance for few days and then rejoining (Corkscrew for example, then there was this guy Priller who did it aswell). Can you, EtL, deal with Cork and all others in CoP doing this? Because it's preety similar to going to D U N E and then rejoining the war...so can u please tell them not to do this anymore (I've watched Corkscrew closely for about 3 weeks and he's quitting and rejoining in weekly basis)? Because those go out of the war to rebuild and then enter in old alliance again...this needs to stop...be in war or go to D U N E, not be in war, quit to rebuild, enter back in the war,...

You've not been watching very well then, Corkscrew left Omega once for about 2-3 weeks and rejoined on the 7th of this month.
