Im asking this, because I see a lack of any true community spirit.

I see threads posted, and locked as soon as possible my mods that seem to be running a FAQ triage center with a mentality of 'ok, can I lock this yet'

Anyone else think that the mods need to devolp more of a hands off approach, and allow the community feel to return to this fourm ?

When you post things saying you dislike a certain Mod, how can that even be thought of as a thread ? Not everyone in SGW wants to waste there time reading spam in the spam temple. There is more to life that that place you know Tokra.

I Wont Lock this as it atleast shows people you are in your own way wreacking this 'true community spirit'.

Actualy, pookie edited my settings the first time a while back.

I recived my first notification that my sig violated rules just within the hour (hence my sig being changed)

So the thread was valid.

And that reminds me of another point, certain mods have a habit of derailing topics they disagree with in effort to get them locked/moved.

While the main practiconer of that (nuto) is no longer a mod, it is still done.

im sorry to say your wrong i think they need to be more hands on. you have said somethings this weekend that shouldnt have been said. and many feel like you should have been banned for it.

not when people are tired of the spam yes I have done a little but seriously do people care what you have to say? Ive been apart of this forum for a while and In my presence I think you only posted one thing worth a so called enjoyable read. You said I will be good blah blah blah you word is meaningless on this forum you say you do something and you dont. Meaning less post with posts that hurt peoples feelings . No wonder you get banned .

I think you should be banned tok'ra and the key just tossed to bottom of the ocean and never recovered. NEVER.

That way your not stuck wondering about when you'll be unbanned.

On the plus note, your seeing real community spirit now. We all want you permabanned.

Yeah no offence dude... but those comments about Jesus are Very offensive to anyone with the slightest christian beliefs.

Nah, I just think people gave into his complaining eventually and thought that he might have learned his lesson.

He didn't, just permaban him and be done with it.

I belive you yourself know that you spam a lot. So do a couple others. Also, try avoiding personal attacks, religion and politics.

Those post that are pure spam on topics should be just deleted. I have seen more of that latley and prefer it over seeing multible mod warnings or the topic locked.

In a pubilc arena such as this it is better to have respect towards the fellow members than to blantantly denouce any religion or anything for that matter.

This is a big community from all over the world.


Did I see tokras comment about Jesus, no. Would I be upset by it, yes. However would I have him banned for it, no. Judo, you are correct people disagree. However, it is better to act with respect rather than utter disregard for the beliefs of others.

Judo, you also say you are a thinker versus a blind follower. I am a Christian, am I blindly following? No, I chose to believe in what I do on my own free will. I speak of this since I was once a non believer, then I started to think.

Hell it is amusing that I talked about showing respect when I used to be a blind racist. If you want to see hypocrisy in the highest form be a racist for a while. Then you get to see blind followers. Everyone I knew that claimed to be racist was really not. I gave up on that because I was blindly following what I thought. Thought requires you to think. Sometimes you think wrongly.

I think I will stop now since I think I proved my point that you can follow something and not be following it blindly

Actually, my call for perma banning wasn't related to any of the offensive stuff been posted. I'm not offended by very much. I'm just tired of the and senseless posts and rather then have a mod keep deleting it, tok'ra whining it's been deleted, then having to watch a thread hijacked again. Just ban him forever.
