Can forum make a button to mute people and their posts

Im tired of a couple people there post are meaningless and I could care less for reading what they say.
Can forum make a button to mute certain people and make it where you cant even see there posts.
Is it just me or does the community agree with me.

I think a button like this would be welcome, but instead of completely ignoring, making it so that it tells you where they posted, just not the content, so that stuff stilll makes sense
