Clarification on rules with swapping accounts

I'm considering buying someone elses account soon and I'm wondering what I need to do to switch from my current one to the new one, and if I am allowed to set my current account to vacation while I sell it, and if I am allowed to sell it at all.
I would have thought that you would be able to set your account to vacation mode while you sold it however speaking to Robe apparently I can't do this or even sell my current account or something... >_<
If an admin or a Gamemod could clarify this it would be helpful.

I asked Admin Jason that very question in a recent admin chat. His stance was that as long as the account swap happened in 30 minutes or less, he was fine with it. I'd asked the question because the rules specify you can only have one account at a time but that made it impossible to safely transfer resources from an old account to a new.
So, you cannot have two accounts, even with one on vacation mode, unless you can perform the swap within that 30 minute window he specified.
Maybe one of the other forum members could point Lord_Zeus to the admin chat logs from week before last? I don't know if they are kept online or for how long.

In the event you buy a new account, moving up from your old one...
Then what happens? never log into old account... ever again?

According to admin, you have 30 minutes to transfer your resources over from the old account and then you must delete it.

Ok thats fair enough, am I allowed to pass my account onto a weaker player instead of deleting it?

You can pass it to a new player if you choose and then he needs to change the email and password on it to make it his and no longer yours.

Are you sure with that? thats good if can... can pass the account onto a new owner
