Rank we all know means very little.

Many also complain that anyone can get into G&R....

What about changing the rank system to reflect true power.

I felt the easiest way is to use the Acension Power Point System. That seems to have been carefully worked out to reflect true power.

Add in a rank modifier for the power of an Ascended Account. This way those that are all powerful in Ascended. Since Power in ascended starts based upon what you have given up in Main then built upon.

Of course the level to get G&R will need to be modified once all the top spots are filled by those that deserve it.

I would personally really like to see a system like this to see where we all truly rank, I can only hope I am in the top 500...

then what about raiding etc? would this make it impossible for strong players to raid?

Well, as the G&R can be adjusted so can the Raiding. Really, isnt it meaningless now.

We should probably do away with the Raiding limit. Since most use it to raid Dead Accounts.

raiding limit can go yes, there are many ways around raiding, and to be honest who's going to raid someone with a dead acocunt with a 400bil strike.

What about those players that don't ever want to ascend?
They can be just as powerful, or even more powerful than those that have ascended, but then they would be disadvantaged in the ranks purely because they chose not to ascend.

Not really the APP system I believe gives the total power of an account, if modifiers are done correctly I am poitive that those unascended with enough UP, weapons etc.... can still pass the average ascended person in rank.

Ascended has a wide range of power levels also.

So you mean not ascended rank, but a rank based on current ascention points worth of the MAIN account? Cause 1st I thought you want ascended rank come in.

Great idea, rank based on APP would be the most accurate possible.


Prehaps have two seperate rankings.

The G&R rankings that we have now, and the true power rankings based on APP.

hmm well this is good and bad as rank is meaningless but is needed for g and r but if you changed it so that people's rank is decided by their power then veryone wanting to speed ascend would only build Ac

I also think army size should be a factor in rank ............

this will make it harder for large army size players to hide in lower rankings

I think we should add many criteria for rank like army size oh yeaaaaaah!

I belive that APP system takes into account Army Size already.

A system based on just APP would be great for Main.

But to reflect a persons level in Ascension also I think they should get some additional APP into their Rank Score based upon their Ascended Account, prehaps a 1/10th of % of influence power or somthing (no Idea actual %).


I do not belive a player just building AC would get far in the APP system.

i took that u watned to take into account the APP rank in ascended to effect rank in main

i didnt read from your post that u want to count army size in MAIN to count towards rank, if i misread okay

Sorry I do not have any G&R at the moment, hiding on NOX to long in this war....

IIRC the APP to ascend scored your Army Size, supers,mercs,weapons, MS, Covert/AC levels, UP, Naq etc... into points.

These Points to me represent the total value of an account. I belive they represent it better than the current system of rank.

Thufir has it right. APP takes the entire worth of the account into consideration.

much like attack rank etc...

so you can go look im the 45th biggest army size in the game etc.. etc...
