I'll keep it short.

Basically, when you've descended someone, instead of the main account resuming to normal (as well as the ascended account) two weeks later, why not go down a ascended level, say example:

I descend a Prophet, it changes to stage Prior...
I descend a Living God, its change to Incarnate...

In my eyes, this would be a more sensible suggestion than the "two weeks later resume as normal idea"

Better yet, scrap the assencion server cause it sucks.

please only add valid arguments to the discussion, tok'ra...

anyways, maybe better to have it as that if descended 3 times w/o ascending in between, then the descension takes one level... that way it will still hurt, but not cripple...

if you do have it to where you can reduce a level, make it to where if you say had 10 ascensions and then got de-ascended enough times that would move you from Ancient God to Living God. But you would need to allow that person to ascend again to get his title back up there.

That is after all the deascended part of the account being done.

Have a time period as well, as an aincent got CANT ascend again.

And if getting decended once allowes an ainceng got to ascend again to protect that level, then it'd just get exploited as people would have freinds decend them to ascend again.

And some people dont want to ascend any more, are content as a LG+1

there is that problem...

hmmmm i dont like it as it means that in a war a player could lose all there ascended levels , imagine a lg+1 being put back to tauri it would mean that a few people who are powerful eneough on ascended could win a war without the need to fight on main as people would surrender and not want to lose their ascended levels.

actually, the way we suggested, to accomplish complete descension from Ancient God, with the descended time being 1 month, and a total of 10 ascensions, it would take at least 30 months to reduce entierly...
the descensions would be:

Ancient god - 1
Ancient god - 2
Ancient god - 3

Living God +4 - 1
Living God +4 - 2
Living God +4 - 3

Living God +3 - 1
Living God +3 - 2
Living God +3 - 3

Living God +2 - 1

If thats the case, then bah, as it stands imho we've gone overboard on n00b protection. I am in FEAR of building my stats. In main my strategy is to lay low, build up the important stats (UP/UU etc.) untill I can sustian a higher rank and then I jump.

In ascension, I'm stuck. If I build up the defense needed to aquire the 'jump' stats, I'll rise in rank and get pounded; If I don't build up the defense, I can't protect the 'jump' reasources, and I just get reaped once a month. Without those rank mods, I couldn't 'jump', but I would still be able to slowly rise to the surface.

These protective measures are great for week old accounts, okay for two week old accounts; terrible for month old accounts trying to get bigger. I'd rather face the off-chance of Hensenshi wasting valuable AT on descendeding my n00bish worlds, than be forever stuck among n00bs.

I'd be fine with this update.
But other things need to come first - Vac mode needs to be fixed for one.

Well it'd cripple them badly maybe so, but we have to bring some big fun into this game.... The two week descended tag sucks, badly!!!

Well what do you know? That is exactly what was supposed to happen and the very reason that I expended so many main resources to build my ascension account. So that, what is happening right now in main wouldn't be happening.

the current penalties for getting decended r nowhere near enough, 2 weeks is all, it should be decending them reducers a level of there ascension, eg lg to incarnate, if they got alot of l/f on ascended it can take alot of turns to decend someone,and as for rank modifyers, they work a bit, rank 10-20 lost half there strike in hitting rank 70-90, so there is some use in them

another way for people to take ascended more seriously is for someone to post up all ascended id's against all main ones, that way they cant hide behind a different name and then not put anything into there ascended account ( i know u can god quest but if its a short war then u dont really have enough time to godquest people and still decend them)
