Current Cap System Changed

Alright, looking at H/E's thread about the removing caps, there seems to be a bit of support for removing them :-), I don't know if they should be completely removed yet however... and mabye a handicap introduced instead of a straight limit... so how about this as a comprimise.

Every mil of uu you are over 50 mil uu there is a (somewhere from .1% to .5%) (compounded so there isnt a fixed limit) disbansion introduced for all incoming uu to your account except through unit production. For example, if you have 60 mil uu, you are 10 mil over the limit, so when you buy uu (lets work off .5%) 5% (slightly less due to compounding) of your uu disband in addition to the 1% that already exists.

If you had 100 mil uu there would be a (100*.99^50) rate of disbansion (about a 22-23% rate)

The percentage can be changed (and I'll put this in the poll) however this would introduce a gradual handicap to the larger players while still allowing them to grow :)

Oh also, this would allow players to raid over 50/100 mil, however the same cap that is applied to them buying uu should be applied here :).

hmm ok it's interesting, i'll give you that. hmm could be expoilt
but if someone willing to go give 1 uu for 10M uu, well i think they can have them.

i say just change it around i believe it should be that you can raid until 50mil and you can trade until 75mil i mean raiding is only meant to be for the noobs to get started and catchup and 75mil is well not only a little over catching up but pointless after say 20 - 25 mil, and then after 75mil you have to UP it to 100mil when the plague kicks in this would make it easier to grow that bit higher but not let those too big grow without trouble and also you all complain about these caps the only reason you even complain is because u cant grow AND make $$ thats what its all about i mean look at the few who have 115mil army sizes take or give its not impossible it just means no more $$.

I once raided myself to 75 mill & I'm no bloody noob - there are 2 kind of people :raiders & traders - I'm a raider , I do trade ..but fingers to have an ich I have to scrach :wink:

& the complain was not that people can't grow & make $ at the same time

it was that when people raech 75 mill they hav esuch a hard time in growing that selling naq for $ or selling uu for cash it's a farr better prospect then waiting for your up to get you there - & that is why so few 75ers reach 100 mill


whille with unllimited growth all resources ca get into growth & buy uu ora raiding & it give's the chanse of the big players to remain a part of the server & keep on striving to have the better account ...whille if you have the limmitations people start leaveing ,after bordom to just sit around waiting for up do the job :cry:

hmm, quite a few votes on the think the caps should remain... why do you guys think they should remain/this isnt the best comprimise between being able to grow and handicapping... what if the uu that are lost are evenly spread among all active accounts? sort of like how the naq is distributed in ascended?
