Each race has an advanced counterpart. This advanced race is only obtainable by those who have ascended....You have retained enough knowledge of the infinite, even in your shell, that you are more advanced than those that have no achieved this state.
Your weapons have been sold AT COST and the naq deposited into your offsite storage.
The new races are equal to each other, and work a little differently than the normal races.
You have a bonus in EACH of income, covert, attack and defence. The bonus is 5% for each time you either ascend, or infuse your ascended account (reach ascension again, in effect.) So -- now you have a 5% bonus is each stat -- if you infuse, it will be 10% in each. If you do it a 2nd time, it will be 15%, and so on...
You are welcome to change back to any 'normal' race with no penalty -- although if you do, you cannot become an advanced race again, until you reach ascension again. Even then, you will start at 5% bonus again instead of 5%+5% that you would get if you kept yourself as an advanced race.
These races may get small alterations in future, but nothing drastic, and most likely just names of items/weapons/techs etc.

and yea, forum thinks ahead lol, he made us all protected for a while, i was hoping to find some unsuspecting ascendeds with 0 defense and 300k troops and get some free naq but damn, we're all protected

ummm forum lol quick questions - new weapons only go up to strength of 5000... how come?

that scared the crap out of me when i saw all my weapons were gone

i didn't see the weapons at first, i saw the bank lol, and yea that was a pleasant surprise...

hey forum, how were the different races choosen, like im tollan, and i see some ancients, i know their equal, but i wanted ancient, lol great update forum gratz

i've written else where but the weapons are double strength but 4x as costly, so is this a bug or really not worth changing?

I'm wondering why the System Lord defense weapons cost more than the attack ones?

Are weapons costs the same for each race as well?

the Tollan def weapons cost more aswell, despite the attack one make more 10dmg

Hope the option to change ascended races becomes available

Son of a *****! If I had known this was coming up I would have changed to an Asgard and become whatever they become! I was only a Goa'uld to get my unit production up!...BAH! this pisses me off....I think I make less as a "System Lord" then I do a Goa'uld....meh....

yea, cost per attack seems wrong,
system lord are:
Armed Military Fleet 5,160 555,800 Naquadah
and
Targeted Spacial Distortions 5,150 599,200 Naquadah

in tollan their the same instead the dmg, i think u got it wrong, its
Armed Military Fleet 5,760 555,800 Naquadah attack
Targeted Black Holes 5,750 599,200 Naquadah defense

Is it just me or do the System lords make less money then they did as Goa'uld....

Yea I just did some math and System Lords make 40 naq per untrained. So do the Asgard race changey thingy still have an upgrade to Defense? Cause maybe its just me but im pissed about making less money....
