To balance an account

I am making this suggestion based upon all the people complaining about the farming happening thanks the war, and the people complaining about those with no stats and massive incomes.

************

My suggestion is that income is based upon protection.

Thinking laterally, miners wouldn't be earning you as much money if there was a heavy threat of attack (ie. little to no defense). So my idea would limit the amount of naq you could produce based upon how much defense you have for your realm.

Ie. you wouldn't be able to hide down the ranks with no stats except a massive covert and just produce massive amounts of naq. Also in war time you wouldn't be able to sell off your defense and just bank your naq and basically stay safe and saving up to buy back your stats after the war. Whilst farming away your opponent (this idea could possibly create an end for a war such as the one still (kinda) raging between the CoP and the CIA as the only reason it is basically continuing (aside form the stubborness of both parties) is the fact of the easy farming between them).

I am not quite sure on what the decrease would be as of income to defense, because that can be a very fluid thing. Unfortunately being at work I don't have the time to work something like that out at this stage.

The overall result of this suggestion would be that to mass away someones defense and then go to farm them would be a pointless excercise. Also it would make it harder to quickly repair from being massed as your income isn't enough to just buy your stats back in a short period of time.

What do people think of this idea?

Most people in war are already on nox and or critical realm alert level which decreases there income substancially. The only time I'm off them is during ppt where my miners would have no fear of attack.

So I dont really see this ending and wars.

Then out of wars why would you want the bigger people to be able to produce the most naq?

The down side of this is how will you repair if someone crushes your account and sits on you?

You will have a 0 def and no income?
